December 9, 201213 yr Teams lose in the nfl it happens. When you give a team your better than that many chances it happens. This is not your typical Bengals team of past years. It's a good team who lost today it's no more no less. Bengals teams of the past would let a game like this ruin the rest of the season. I don't see that happening with this team. In the grand scheme of things they still control their own destiny. Actually as long as the jets lose one more time the Bengals could lost their next game and still make it if they win the last two.
December 9, 201213 yr Drops (on both sides of the ball) and TO management. Bengals had to win 3 of the last 4 to have a chance. Now they have to win 3 of 3.
December 9, 201213 yr You watch the game and feel like you are up 20 the whole time and in the end you lose. Absolutely horrible to lose this game. Just gave it away with dropped passes, etc..
December 9, 201213 yr Not true at all. That has changed since Pittsburgh lost today too. Assuming san Fran beats the dolphins today. The Bengals could also lose next week as long as the jets lose one more.
December 9, 201213 yr Not sure why the Bengals didn't give the ball to BGE more towards the end of the 4th quarter.
December 9, 201213 yr Drops (on both sides of the ball) and TO management. Bengals had to win 3 of the last 4 to have a chance. Now they have to win 3 of 3. Agreed. Dalton wasn't very good today but the drops really hurt him.
December 9, 201213 yr Andy would have been fine if not for key drops on first down. But defense also couldn't catch either. Still control their fate but did have a chance to be back in the division title race if they had won.
December 9, 201213 yr Typical Bengals. So sick of having hope for this Loser of a franchise. I am so sick of being force-fed the Bengals and Reds. Cincinnati should be happy that we even have a franchise. Why do the Cincinnati fans feel that we have some entitlement to be a championship caliber program??? We are like the 28th largest media market in the United States. The only people who give a rat's patoot about the Bengals are the people who live in Cincinnati. If you go make a bet on Cincinnati in Vegas, the clerk will smile and say, "You must be from Cincinnati." Be happy that you've got an NFL team, enjoy their successes and stop torturing yourself about failing to find some unrealistic Holy Grail that Cincinnatians think we should be claiming on an annual basis. We are lucky that we have any success at all and aren't 28th every year. I'm sick of the Bengals on the radio 24/7. My alarm goes off on Sunday morning and their is Ken Broo (sp) talking about the Bengals like they are family members. They are professional football players who have only one interest - their personal contracts. They sell their soul out to the highest bidder and have no allegiance at all to the city in which they play. I get in the car after the game and Broo is back on talking about the loss like his pet dog died. It is a business and you are being bilked big bucks to go down there and worship at the altar of these tin gods. $260 for Club Seats, extras for food etc., but shame on us because we pay the price to pad Brown's and the players pockets. The only losers are the fans and the city itself.
December 9, 201213 yr Everything you just said is just bout being a fan. That's why sports are so popular because people do care about sports and cheer on their teams. If you want to change things then there would be no sports. I know I am cheering on a good football team this year with a bright future. They will bounce back from this tough loss unlike Bengal teams in the past. I like hearing the Bengals and reds talk in the morning and at night. The times I don't want to I simply turn the station and listen to music. It's talked being a fan. I know I get just as upset as other people when they blow games like today. But at this point in the year it's time to keep looking at the big picture and that is they still control their fate.
December 10, 201213 yr The Bungles blow a 9 point 4th quarter lead AT HOME against a mediocre team who has to be at the lowest emotional point of their season.....Yeah, stay hopeful. It'll all work out.
December 10, 201213 yr I'm not the only one that though "well, we're now going to lose" after Dez Bryant's TD catch, correct?
December 10, 201213 yr I'm not of football coach caliber by a long shot, but once the Bengals were up 19-10, I thought that their intensity dropped off dramatically, and sticking with a passing game was disastrous. It just wasn't the dropped balls... it's the simple fact that at that point they should've trusted their star running back to help them charge down the field and eat up some clock. Cincy should know all about this because they've lost so many times to Pittsburg who typically does just that... get a decent lead then run the ball to death... I couldn't believe how senseless and amateur their game plan was at that point in the game. They gave it away...
