Cowboys 20 Bengals 19

Featured Replies

They got 3 more plays and lost 7 yards before punting after that call. The game changed because Gruden abandoned the law firm.

The game did not change because of that. The offense punted the ball what two times all game long. That shows it was not like the offense was doing bad by passing the ball. The few times they did go with the run in the 2nd half it was basically stuffed besides the long 40 yard run. The passing game was there all game, just receivers couldn't catch. Its no more no less. People complain when the Bengals play conservative with the lead and run and go 3 and out. People complain when they are still more aggresive. Basically when it comes to the Bengals people just find anything to complain about on what they did wrong. Which the other way could have been wrong too if it didn't work. Easy to say after the fact.

We watched a very different game. The Gals punted the last 3 times they had the ball. The longest they had the ball those drives were 5 plays and 2:51. They had a back that averaged over 7 yards per carry and he got the ball 12 times all game and they dominated the first 3.5 quarters. This game falls strictly on Gruden's back

That is assuming he proceeds with surgery.

Now they're holding off on IR.

They really put Dez in a bad spot with this IMO. I don't get why they would state publicly it's up to Dez.

I believe it was Allen Cutler who made a great point on this very topic. He talked about how the Tampa Bay fans were mad that Tampa only tried to run the ball with their great young runningback at the end of the game and they ended up losing because of being conservative by doing that. So their fans were not happy. While up here Cincy fans are not happy because the Bengals were aggressive and had passes that were open but just dropped. So fans say that well the Bengals should have been running the ball. When in the past when the Bengals do that, people complain here goes the Bengals again playing not to lose and conservative. It comes down to if it does not work it is so easy to second guess. They could have ran the ball more and still lost. What we do know is if they catch a pass they win, dropping passes is the main reason they lost it was not because they didn't run.

Funny thing is Gruden shortened the game by running the clock after they got the lead last night.

He was too dumb to run it out in the first half though on 1st and 20

Funny thing is the night in the 2nd half when they did run it on 1st or 2nd down they actually gained positive yards. In the Dallas game besides one run in the 2nd half they were stuffed. Which if they ran it more like you all wanted and were stuffed and three and outs, then people would complain for them being to conservative with the lead. If a team loses its very easy to 2nd guess, which people on here do a great job of that.
