I wouldn't be opposed to more restrictions personally.

 

I bought a handgun from a guy a few months ago for $75. I showed up at his house, He gave me everything that came with it when he purchased it, then I gave him the money. Nothing more than that. I'm not sure how I feel about just being able to do that, though.

 

Then again, I'm not going to murder anyone and I've known the guy since I was 6. Not exactly the same thing as a shady deal going down in the projects.

I think the national gun database is a good idea. In theory only. I would assume there are millions of undocumented guns in America, how in the world are you are going to come close to having any type of an inventory?

Yep, we need to ban cars immediately if not sooner. Cars kill. If it weren't for cars being on the streets this young man from the Cowboys would still be alive. It has nothing to do with drinking and bad choices. Just the cars.

Doesn't change the fact that they are designed specifically to kill. Too many gun owners fail to respect this fact, and that's where the problem lies. Too many people think of a gun as a toy, something cool to have and show off to friends.

 

And in the case of "outlawing baseball bats, knives, etc." as was forwarded earlier, please acknowledge the fact that, with a gun, the killing is done much more easily. Not many people "accidentally" kill someone with a knife or a baseball bat, but it happens with guns fairly regularly.

BUT! there are a LOT more accidental deaths involving cars.
