The only thing his messages are missing is "SK would beat the Cakes"...

Kind of reminds you of when back in the day, Tom Gamble has a call in show and every week he would pick against HHS. And HHS would continue to win. I' pretty sure it was a "hate" thingy he had for HHS. Kinda of like today's version CF. Anyway, that was always entertaining each week to tune in and hear what he had to say. I know the last show beforw state that year, he got an earful from TFVH. LOL! Wonder where he has been?

This might be a running clock before half...

Did somebody ring?

Everybody is predicting a blowout, but looking at Collins' record and scores, they can put some points on the board. This could turn out to be a real shootout. One of the things that would prevent that would be if Collins has a lot of two-way starters. Does anybody know how many (if any) they have? If they have a bunch, then the Birds will wear them down and dominate the second half - as they've done to most of their opponents this season.

If McCoy stays healthy, it's all but over for Collins. This is McCoy's last stand. Seidl will have a huge game as well.

I predict that both teams will play their hearts out.

On a side note , will there be any local radio coverage of this game live, for those few who do not have a computer?

What is Collins' history? How long they had a program, how many state titles/appearances? How many players? I do get sucked in to some of these sideshows but have prided myself this year on not getting sucked in as much. I do believe Birds will win but I'm not so sure that it'll be the 77-0 that my friend Whack 'Em says it'll be. Is there a single true Collins fan on here?

I don't think so. I haven't seen one Collins fan on here the whole season. I saw them against Boyle. Their QB and their RB was their whole offense. Good special teams. The RB ran it and caught it. He did it all. The QB was a better runner than passer but he did both efficiently. I think we beat them 49-26 and they scored 2 tds late in the game when we were gassed. . Both were big plays. That's about all I remember.

Had to throw the gas into it. I just spit food out on the bar in my Philly hotel! Please warn me before your gonna do that!

So it sounds like they may have a few guys to key on for offense to shut em down? I'm sure Weinrich is licking his chops. How many guys are two-way players?

Collins has been a school for 3 years i think. They had trouble with their new field last year and could not even play home games on it. IMO most of the better players from the Shelby County area switched to Collins when it opened. Collins and Shelby County are rivals.... They are making their tradition in their infancy stage. I think it's great that they made it this far and I'd love to see them shock the 4A world.

In a show of solidarity for their injured teammates, the Birds will appear Tebowesque donning LexCath 3:53 under their eyes this coming friday night.

Now that is just plain funny, I don't care who you are.

Whack 'Em has some zingers. I'm over the head-butting since one of my kids weren't the victims it's a little easier to move on. However, it'll stay in my mind like when Anderson Co took the cheap shot on Michael Waite. I'm very impressed and happy for Collins and Cooper for making to the state finals since both teams have been in existence less than 5 years. Come Friday though, the gloves are off, and apparently the pants too. With a weather forecast of 67 degrees, I'll be wearing shorts.
