Outside of Wiltjer they are lightening fast everywhere.

Curry and the lack of any kind of press says otherwise.

Seriously, they are long and athletic but could not get stops on what looked like a much less athletic team....

We shall see.

How far will UK fall in the rankings? Also, does anyone know UK's all-time win-loss record against Duke? I'd have to believe Duke has the advantage overall.

Hats off to Duke. Curry killed UK tonight.

UK couldn't take advantage if Plumlee being out. Little mistakes hurt UK as well. This team will grow as the season progresses but defense is still an issue.

The defense is 90% solved as soon as Cal can get the front court to stay on the floor. They're all trying to block every shot and biting on every fake. If the primary defender stays on the ground, the defense looks a lot better.

3. This team looks and seems SLOW

Uhhhh what? They're freshman & have a long way to go but everyone this team is extremely athletic except Wiltjer.

UK is 11-9. This was 20th matchup.

I'm guessing 8-9 range. MSU only fell from 14 to 21 after losing their first game to UConn.

Take Wiltjer and Kelly out and have a relay race. UK will run circles around them. This team is far from slow. They couldn't get stops because they are young and not disciplined. They will learn. What does a press have to do with it? No one presses anymore.

I would have been ecstatic if the Cats won tonight. Knew Duke was the favorite at this point in season. Cats were fortunate because Duke gave them 3 points on FT lane violations.

Cats have a few weeks to improve before a matchup with Baylor. Once this team starts to play D in late December, they will be VERY tough to beat.

RIP Jarrod Polson National Player of the Year campaign (November 9, 2012 - November 13, 2012)

This team reminds me of the 2010 team that ended up losing 9 games yet made the Final Four. They will take lumps and play down to their competition but eventually in January or February, the light bulb will go off and this team will reach it's potential. Duke was the better team tonight and some of it was experience but I would say the most of it came from UK not knowing how to play together yet.
