Prayers sent from my home to the children and their families. :cry:

This makes me sick to my stomach. I have a pre-schooler and I simply can't imagine the pain these families are going through.

Prayers to all involved.

I just found out that one of the children that did not survive the crash was the granddaughter of a former colleage of mine. No words can explain my heartbreak for that family.

Way too many school bus incidents.

 

Thinking about the fear going through those kids while this was happening brings me to tears.

Just horrible to hear about this. The pictures are devistating, I'm honestly surprised more lives weren't lost given the shape that bus is in. Prayers to those families of everyone impacted by this accident. I was outside playing with my 4 year old nephew today when I stopped by my moms, I just can't imagine what these parents must be going through to have that suddenly ripped away from them. So so sad.

Kosair released that they are treating children for broken bones and head injuries.

I am just heartbroken thinking about those babies and what they went through. My prayers are with the families of all involved, especially the ones of the two little angels who didn't survive. I cannot imagine their grief, just awful.

 

This may not be the place for this but I don't understand why busses don't have seatbelts. What is the official rationale for that?

That bus did have seat belts. It was mentioned in one of the reports that is was still under investigation whether or not the students were wearing the seatbelts. UGH

Wow. Thanks for the info.

I hate this for the families of those children. But, I also hate this for the bus driver, barring that he/she was not somehow negligent or anything like that. Could you imagine living with yourself knowing that you were driving the bus in this accident? Be tough for me to take.

Are there any more details about the circumstances that led to the crash?

Let's just say that they swallowed a HUGE amount of pride by wearing their rival's colors to support these families today. Just thought I'd share. Pretty cool of them if you ask me!"

Lived in Warsaw my entire life. Pretty proud of my alma mater this week.

Horrible horrible story, I cant even fathom what the families of the victims are going through.

 

Also, hearing some ugly details about this story. Hoping they are not true.
