First I must say that Kuntz is a stud and can put the ball on a dime. Kid is definitely a playmaker. As for the camels I say that if Tyler Walsh is not injured in the first half, that game isn't as close as it wound up being. Awesome job by the CC O line.

Durham was quoted as saying something like "we ran the same play over and over so we figured we'd run it again on the 2-pt conversion."

Congratulations Camels! Your kids controlled the line on both sides of the ball and SK's defense had no awnser for Durham.

 

I am really shocked though that SK did not make any adjustments defensively. Calling some run blitzes or switching to a 4 - 3 or 4 -4 from a 5 -3 would have definately been in order.

Switching from an odd front to an even front is a whole different set of responsibilities and reads for your D-line and Linebackers. Not something you want to just try in a game situation when you're getting gashed in your main front.

Switch to a 5-3. Basically the same D with two bigger guys up front.

SK runs a 3-5. They could have switched a linebacker and put a big body in on the line might have helped stop the run who knows? Time to get over it and get ready for Boone.

No reads necessary when you know exactly what is coming. I put 6 down lineman with two linebackers on those last two plays, and if CC beats me passing, I live with it.
