I did not veer the conversation to "why doesn't sk schedule highlands or cov cath".

 

Sk's Head Coach is coordinator as well as a position coach. Do any of those "inside the 275 loop" schools head coaches wear that many hats? I don't think so.

 

My GOD, you can't decide which argument to make. Now it's the coaching staff that is unfair? I wish Beechwood wuould get many of their Coaches off the sidelines. I think they get in he way come gametime because there are too many delivering conflicting messages to the kids.

 

For the record, Noel Rash is Head Coach and Defensive coordinator . There may be a few, but I don't know of any Head Coach in NKY that doesn't also run either the Defense, Offense or both. Also, do you really think any of these guys coach for money? Outside of the Head Coach, assistant Jobs probably don't even pay for the Gas they use to get back and forth for practices.

Agreed. I also believe Cooper's HC also calls plays on both offense and defense. The assistant coaches I don't think make a dime. So SK could have as many coaches as they wish just as any school.

 

I think sometimes it is more of an ego thing than anything else. Some coaches don't want to reliquish control in some areas. There is nothing stopping any school from having as many coaches as they want or need. There are plenty of coaches out there that would love to have the opportunity to be a part of a coaching staff at the vasrsity high school level and would do it for free.

You are all mistaken! SK's enrollment has been closed since the beginning this year! I have one kid going to Boone to prove it! And if you don't think that private donations have nothing to do with being able to afford one assistant coach for every varsity player, then you are living in fantasy land!

Of course its not, because that helps you justify your position. You made a decision that was best for your kid and family. Absolutely no issue with it, just the stance you take on other kids and families that have made the same choice. Why you did it is none of my business nor concern.

As for BW being developmental, that's laughable and you know it. I would guess, and I could be wrong, that BW has more kids playing college football today than SK does, and I will guarantee that to be true if you use a per capita analysis.

My kid? If my kid would have gotten reps, SK is in worse shape than I imagined. His 7.5 40 makes it tough. Careful when you think you know who you are talking to. For one things its against board policy, for another you are wrong, as I have pointed out the last 100 times you've made that accusation. I don't dispute that. Those two classes headlined by Simpson and Lawrence were special, not sure where Miles went to middle school but I know Chads class was unbeaten two years at Summit View.
