Lets face it sounds like cc wanted the game more and played hard!! UK a game like this grounds a team and can make them better you should be glad this happen now then latter!! It's called a wake up so now we will see what the boy are really like. You just watch and see how hard they work now!! All in all it was a good night for both teams!! SK just didn't see it coming but they should for now on!!!

Durham from cc was great friday night. Only thing I am wondering what is Sk defensive coaches doing over there. Cc ran the same play 8 times on their last drive alone. Not to to take anything away from Durham cause he ran the ball great but he cant throw at all. Why wouldn't Sk put everyone up on the line and dare him to throw the ball he had 3 interceptions in the first half. I was so confused by the defensive calls of sk in the second half when cc just ran right almost every time. sk needs to step it up if they want to win the rest of their district games because it wont be easy.

Lets put some perspective on the situation shall we. CC won by one point in the last 30 seconds in game the SK mostly controlled. CC played by far their best game of the year. They used their bye week to their advantage. SK did not play their best (one first down in the 1st half, about 25 yds rushing for the game) and is capable of playing a lot better. Dunham will not get 250 yds rushing the next time these teams play. He is a great rusher, but a lot of his success comes because of the prevalence of 3-5 defenses. sports2411 is right to call out SK's defensive coordinator for not adjusting.

 

Dunham is not a very accurate passer though, and his receivers dropped a lot of balls. A team that plays a 4-4 or 5-3 could shut this offense down. If I were defensive coordinator, I would have put 4, 5 even 6 defensive linemen on the line of scrimmage , and if I was beat in the passing game, I would live with it.
