Not to mention that Twenhofel won the championship soon after the two SVMS teams won.

 

Correct, as well as South Kenton had good teams those years as well. SK had all their feeder teams do really well for a few years there.

Nope wrong again, Chad is on the 2006 Banner, his younger brother Cory is on the 2007 banner. At least your consistently wrong.

 

Ok, ya got me. In the one time I was in the SVMS gym I confused Chad and Cory from 50 ft away. Guilty as charged. No idea why that upsets you so much, I was actually referring more to those two classes and what quality kids it produced, but if that's relevant to this in any way sorry for my error.

I have to tip my cap to Durham. He's not as big as listed, I'd say 6'2" at most but man is he a beast. Not a great passer but can do just enough to keep a defense honest. I had a bad feeling when they took over on their last drive, they churned out a seven minute drive with one pass and seven rushes by Durham. Best case scenario we could get them in a first and longer than 10 which we did after a false start. They had the ball 1st and 15 from the SK sixteen. Durham ran for five, then handed off for one and then on third down ran for eight. Then he scored on 4th and two from the three and capped it off with a strong run up the middle for two. He has nice lateral speed and when he gets going downhill he can fall down for three or four yards.

 

far as SK hurting themselves with turnovers I say bull. Sure Kuntz threw a pick in the endzone but Durham had three interceptions in the first half, two were run back but Swanson's was called back after a hold. SK's running game is what hurt their chances. Keep Durham off the field and you limit what the Camels can do. SK's longest drive was three minutes while Campbell grinded the clock.

 

Hopefully Swanson isn't injured badly, the kid is phenomenal. His punt return late in the third was a beauty, a shoestring away from scoring six.

 

 

 

Swanson isn't hurt at all. I talked to his brother after the game and he said Jared just started cramping up late in the first half and continued throught the game. It just happened to cramp really bad on that last kickoff return but no worries he will be 100% ready to go friday night against boone.
