My vote also goes to Putnam. One of the greatest high school stadiums in the country! Great place to watch a football game!

Cam Stadium will no doubt fall into this category as years pass. For those who have spoken of Hillard Howard Stadium, Belfry's is similar but superior.

A little different perspective here, but from the point of view of being on the field...

The atmosphere at Belfry this year was very good. Really like the set-up of the stadium and the intensity of the crowd. Everyone there seemed to be focused on the game.

Corbin (I guess since it was Pigskin) was a great atmosphere too.

A playoff game at Trinity though would have to top the list.

Have heard Putnam at Ashland is right there with the best...and hope to find out in person soon!

You will have to come back and check out the new place. I remember those games when you were in the Rocks district, a couple come to mind as real battles.

They were -- at least in 2001 when we had the numbers of kids on the roster to compete. The fact that they were actually competitive games is I'm sure what made the atmosphere what it was.

And always CLEAN, CLASSY, but hard-hitting from the Trinity kids. I really respect teams that always WIN and try to physically BEAT UP the teams they play but do it with class -- never stepping over the line. This has always typified Trinity and St. X to me.

Looking forward to getting back over there soon and seeing the complex. I'm sure they did it right.

I enjoyed my trip to Putnam as well. It is a nice place to watch a football game.

I enjoyed the Cumberland Fall Pigskin Classic last year at Corbin. The field was in excellent shape and they had a microphone hooked up to the referee so he could give his calls over the loudspeaker.

Going into Highlands as a visitor is very intimidating. That sideline is pretty close to the stands, and the field is completely surrounded. One of the best fields in the state not to mention one of the best teams in the state.

#1: duPont Manual Stadium

Among others, I liked Danvilles stadium, as well as Males, and I'm sure Trinitys is a fine place, although I haven't been there since the renovation. I specifically remember enjoying Ballards stadium, particularly because A. The fans were quite nice, and B. They had good pregame music... well, not good PREGAME music, but good music nonetheless.

I only played there as a young lad, and people probly won't mention this, but I always liked Dayton just cause you felt like you were in an arena (sorta)
