Wow! Who would take a 3 month old to an event like this?

This is just terribly sad news. Read in that article that this happened only 13 miles from Columbine.

 

I wonder what could have been their motive?

Horrible, awful news. Prayers for recovery for the injured, and healing for the families and community.

The shooter responsible for 12 deaths in an Aurora movie theater is identified as 24-year-old James Holmes, CBS reports.

A total of 50 people were injured, including the 12 dead. Ten died at the theater and at least two others passed away at hospitals.
