Ridiculous and it fuels me with so much rage and so many questions as to why people do this. I feel so saddened that people can't even enjoy a movie because of the fear this has caused.

I don't really know. Found it on another message board but I can't find where it came from.

I have already seen things around the Internet talkin about how no one else in the theater had a gun.

 

People have the option to go through the process to carry a gun legally.

 

I will say that it makes no difference, for all we know the gunman could have had a license to carry ( I doubt it). I'm just saying it is not the solution to this problem.

I was at the Florence Cinema (Rave) last night for one of their eight showings of the film. When I bought my ticket at 7:00 that night, the young lady who sold me the ticket said six of the eight screens had been sold out. I believe mine was too, as I couldn't see an empty seat anywhere. Point being...there were people everywhere. By far, it was the most crowded I've ever seen at a cinema complex.

 

But I remember before the previews & movie started, an announcement flashed on the screen about what to do in case of emergency. I thought to myself if there was a fire, no one would do what the screen announcement suggested, which was to walk & not run to the nearest exit. I can't imagine the chaos inside that Colorado theater. Simply heartbreaking.
