Another picture perfect day. Shot a 44. Just played 9. Gotta quit having that one triple bogey, other than that hit it pretty solid.

Plan on going Saturday if the rain holds off.

45 today, frustrating started off even after 3 with a chip in birdie, then reality set in. 10 over on last 6 holes with that dreaded triple. It's easy to make a triple. Hit it in the fairway hit it in the water get on green and 3 putt, smh.

I wanna be you....playing everyday !!! LOL

Dont feel bad, at my club the greens are like skating rinks and I have been putting like a teenager, they are literally going off in my hands. My buddy told me I need to shave my feet !!!

This happens to be a week I am not travelling, so I can get out around 3:00, have the course to myself, literally finish in an hour and get on with my day. Gonna try again tomorrow, if the weather is ok. Just hack around by myself most days. Don't count my mulligans, always keep score with 1st shot for a fair handicap and fair gauge of my score. It's nice to be able to hit the 2nd sometimes third shot when no one is around. if i don't hit it well after the third try...well I probably can't hit that shot. PM me if you get a day to play and if we can coordinate our calendars, I'll treat you to Fort Mitchell CC.

Sounds good, my buddy was a member there and he had me over a couple times. Nice course, small but nice. I will hit ya up for sure.

You weren't on Pioneer any last week were you? I was out there last Monday but none this week. If you'd seen me last week it would've likely brought some laughter to your day.

Oh wait just saw you mentioned Fort Mitchell not Kenton County, my bad.

Yes 7 of the holes I can par and are ok for a short hitter like me, but #4 a 240 Par 3 is not reachable for me and 420 Par 4 #8 isn't either in two shots, they kill me. I have doubled 4 and tripled 8 the last two days. I have never parred 8 yet in the year I have been a member. Course is in great shape and the greens are fairly quick but run true. You just have to be on the right part of the green in relation to the pin placement or you are screwed. There are two greens if you are above the hole, you better make it or you are gonna be chipping. If you stay below the hole one or two putts is in order. I love the place because there never is a wait except on weekends in the morning. The course is 109 years old and the trees are, therefore, mature and if you are in them, well just hit it in the fairway and take your medicine, but I should take my own advice on that one.

Same offer as I did with Q. PM me and I can set something up.

Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike Devou Park Golf Course?

It's awful.

Worst...course...ever! At least the 9 holes that my golf team played a couple of years ago that I helped coach. Even the opposing teams coach hated it (they had never played that side according to him...very hilly, I think its the back 9). After the match he said they would NEVER have another one there again if they had to play that side. He got no disagreement from me.

I've never played it but would kind of like to just to see it for myself, what's so bad about it?

Played front 9 at Highland Country Club yesterday and shot a 45. Had 2 bad holes #5 which is a par 5 I took a Snowman and got a hockey stick on #4. IMO those are the two toughest holes on the front nine. You have Blossom lane on your right and I have seen several balls hit that road. Typically you tee off with an Anti-Blossom Rd swing and pull yank into the Trees. I had a couple pars and basically played bogey golf on the other 5 holes where I 3 putt on 2 of them. Girrrrrrrrrrrr.

It was a beautiful day and any day on the course is a good day, beats sitting behind a desk.

Looking forward to weekend trip to Tazewell, TN this weekend. 36 holes at Woodlake in Tazewell and then stopping at Wasioto Winds on the way home for 18.

If you've never been to Tazewell before, you should look into it. Great course for a good price.
