I love these perks! I'm hopeful that the next perk will be dinner on VOR's tab. Just another reason why it is hard not to pull for the Tigers in all but 1 game a year. I have come to like a good many of the Beechnuts. Same thing with Danville, I still pull for the Ads in AA largerly from the friends made over the years. My only regret is that I miss not being able to give you guys as much crap now that I know some of you.

Heard Ethan Stringer was clocked at 85mph 5 times at the Perfect Game Tournament at East Cobb this week. For an 8th grader to be clocked at 85mph is quite impressive. Ethan is a good football player and a special baseball player..The kid could have a big future throwing and hitting the little white ball..:scared:

If he throws it like that, he probably is Beechwood's #1 starter next season ... for varsity, not freshman. Not to get off track, but Beechwood has some great baseball talent in the younger classes. Now, back to football.

Yes they do. A lot can happen, but the soon to be Sophomore and Freshman classes at BW have a chance to be very good, and not just at football. The Slusher kid has a chance to be the best of all of them, he is growing and is a solid 6 ft now. BW may be down for a couple years, or maybe not, but you better get em now, better days are coming.

I would not write off this year team....They are extremely talented at the skill positions and better than advertised on the line.

In 1A I would slot them somewhere between #6 and #10 and this is based solely on Beechwood being Beechwood. If two of the larger question marks, QB and the line, come together sooner than later then the Top 5 in 1A by the end of the regular season could be reachable. By that juncture in the schedule the "newbies" have gained significant experience and who knows what will happen then.
