Both of them have really improved since the 1st game. Dieng had 6 blocks in the first game. I think he can really help neutralize Davis, and Jones inside. If I remember correctly Davis did all of his scoring in the first game in the 2nd half after both of them got into foul trouble.

So you're saying Dieng is good enough to neutralize both Davis and Jones?

Davis and Jones have both improved since that first game too. There's a lot of areas that could potentially be concering for Kentucky, you're the first and only person I've heard say Davis and Jones though.

Davis and Jones don't concern me. Dieng and Behanan do.:D Davis getting in foul trouble is my nightmare. Seriously, I can't help it. I guess you can call me a pessimist. I'll tell you how bad it is. I'd be worried if Kentucky were playing Highlands today.:lol:

If UL wins on a last second shot does The Shot become the second worst thing to ever happen to UK basketball on the court?

I think so..at least for my generation.

I'd be worried if Kentucky were playing Highlands today.:lol:

Maybe if it was football season!

Just goes to show you I'm always nervous.

Louisville has made there 8-0 postseason run by pressing. Don't think thats a good idea against the Cats. Old saying is don't go away from what got you there. Will be interesting to see how that works out tonight. Cats win 74-61.

According to Chris Smith , this is their game plan. Look for lots of "flops" by the UofL players anytime they get close to Davis.

Such a harsh and simplistic term. We would prefer "strategic exaggeration." The foul happens... you just embellish it a little...

"Embelish" or "Embrace?" :D

If UK wins by less than 10 I will be surprised and disappointed. I am not worried about Davis getting in foul trouble because I honestly believe UK would beat UL without Davis. I know that may get me labeled an 18%'er, but trust me - I am far from that. If UL wins, I will be rooting for the Cards Monday night just as hard as I would root for UK. Facts are facts and talent is talent. Think about the matchups without Davis. Jones versus Dieng - even; MKG vs. Behanan = MKG; Darius vs. Kuric = Darius; Lamb vs. Smith = Lamb; Teague vs. Siva = even. Pitino has done a great job coaching this group and it has been an incredible run but UK just has too much for the Cards. UL has one hope to win the game IMO - fill it up from 3 point land. If they can somehow get hot as a team from the 3, that along with playing their usual great defense could get them that 1 in 10 upset.

I notcied that GT has refrained from giving his thoughts on this game. Let's hear it GT. Who wins?

As to your nervousness LRCW, I wish I could help you out but all I can do is say I have not had one moment of worry or doubt about this team yet in the tourney, and I have none tonight. I have total confidence and have throughout the tourney. After seeing this team back in early December, I said it was Cal's best team at UK and one that could win a title and these guys are much better now than they were then. This is the first time I have picked UK to win it all in my pool in a long time. Monday night (assuming UK wins) there will be some worry. Both Kansas and OSU have talent and matchups that cause me some concern and it will be for the title, so you have to have some worry at that point. I am feeling good about tonight.

It's been an interesting week for me.. Sunday and Monday I was confident. I started getting a little more nervous Tuesday and Wednesday... Thursday I was scared to death. But yesterday and today, I'm feeling good again.

Kind of how I've felt as well, I think we're honestly psyching ourselves out. Glad we don't have to play in this game.
