No, it's more Pitino than anything.

You're taking everything into account, except the thing that should factor in the most....the level of talent on the court.

CBS does what's best for their ratings, not what is going to cause fans to lose sleep. Sure for fans the hype of Cal vs. Pitino and UofL vs. UK is awesome and nerve-racking, but it's completely meaningless to the players.

I realize UK has superior talent than Louisville. UK should win going away, but Pitino having a week to prepare his team for anybody makes me nervous, and it's not like UofL is void of any talent. They have some pretty darn good players themselves. Throw in the thread that Goldie started and Jahearme's comments, and it just makes me even more on edge.

This UK team has had everything thrown at them this year and they've responded. He is 2-6 against UK in his last eight tries and both of those wins came against Billy G. He is a very good coach but so is Cal. I don't see an advantage either way.

How ridiculous is it? They were 20 points better in the first half. They aren't 40 points better every night, but they could have been on Sunday.

So you are telling me if they play 20 times UK beats them on average by 40 points? Please. Of course they could have been for 1 game but they weren't and they weren't even close. They won by 12.

Reading comprehension much?

They aren't 40 points better every night

If they play 40 times (and don't coast for 10+ minutes), then there would be a 40 point victory in there.

As for not being close, being up 20 at half would be a good start, no?

HT, the point was that UK was 40 points better on Sunday, but Cal held the boys back and didn't let them do their thing. The second half was about a boring game that I have ever watched.

They were 12 points better not 40. They might have coasted a little but but they weren't going to beat them by 40 no matter what.

LOL and people wonder why some call UK fans unrealistic? Won every game by double digits on the way to the Final Four and it still isn't enough for some of you. Give me a break.

So you're saying its 100% impossible they could repeat their first half performance in the second half?

Agree. If I find out who is refing the UK?UofL game, I will let you know.

So by thinking it was wrong to "stop" attacking, you equate that to me being unrealistic or not good enough? Anytime the CATS win, it's enough for me, just think they packed it in and coasted way to early.

Well if we are playing that game they could have won by 100. It's possible. It's possible they are 120 points better than Baylor if they don't make a single shot in the 2nd half and UK never misses.

Why is this so hard for you to grasp?

UK beat Baylor by 20 points in the first half of the Elite 8 game. Full stop. Period. Fact. It DID happen.

All I'm saying is that they could have repeated a performance they already proved was possible. You act like I'm arguing Anthony Davis could block the moon out of orbit.

Goodness, we've got UK fans bickering among themselves in this thread. Think this state's just a little on edge?

And it's only Tuesday Jim.
