Well he said it. Now I can sleep easy at night.

Talking in generalities (word?) no real specifics on either side, takes shot at SEC (maybe deserved) noting that IU schedule should help them and weak conf schedule for UK will hurt them.

He still didn't say "Anthony Davis" or "John Calipari", but at least its a step in the right direction. I do feel someone probably talked to him about it, because I can't imagine they'd have asked about that matchup otherwise.

Who is Bob Knight?

I am suprised he says Indiana...they are the ones who fired him!

I think there is some justification on both ends. It is painfully obvious Knight has no regard for UK and even less regard for Coach Cal. That is fine but it should not get in the way of his analysis. On the flip side why UK nation is so infatuated with it is beyond me. Knight was a great basketball coach. Period, end of story. Why do you need the affirmation of a guy that has done nothing for nearly 20 years? What does his praise do for you? He is not regarded as a great analyst, I think he sucks in-fact and he is difficult to listen to. An insane fan base vs. a rickety bitter man.

No different than what's going on with UK fans having a problem with the General.

I don't see the comparison. People making fun of UK fans Vs people getting on a college basketball analysis for intentionally not mentioning the name of the #1 team in the nation. He is paid to talk about basketball. I thought it was all kind of funny and he probably loved that he knew he was making UK fans mad.

Can't really disagree with the notion of a weak SEC. However I saw this list and thought that overall, it shoots some holes in Mr. Knight's theory about schedules and competition.

UK 6-1

Syracuse 6-1

Mich St 6-3

UNC 5-1

IU 4-4

Ohio St 4-5

Kansas 3-2

Marquette 3-3

Cincy 3-4

Louisville 3-5

Wisconsin 3-6

Xavier 1-0

Ohio 0-1

Baylor 0-2

Florida 0-5

NC St 0-5
