JJMason
This game did not disappoint. St. X came out early and really pressured Trinity midfield and defense and controlled the first 25 minutes of the first half. Trinity settled in and took control for much of the second half. St. X had a couple really good shots on goal and Trinity’s goalie made one amazing save. Trinity’s defense was able to shut down St. Xs vaulted attack for most of the game. Senior Nate Barry finished off a nice set piece to put the Rocks ahead to stay 1 to 0. Trinity really was able to get in deep with some great interior attack. Junior Jack Fischer controlled much of the tempo of the game and junior Jeremy Mason exploited the right wing with his speed. Mason almost had an assist with a deep cross to McManus that was inches away from being another score. Great fall evening and amazing soccer. Well done. mexitucky
It sounds like a great game. Trinity may have done enough to take over #1 in the Maher rankings.
