Aaron Rigdon is New St. Patrick Head Coach

Saint Patrick has found a new leader for their boys' basketball program and didn't have to go far to look in doing it.

The Saints named Aaron Rigdon their next coach on Tuesday. Rigdon has his roots with St. Patrick, graduating from there in 1995. He filled it up in his playing days, scoring 1,518 points in his high school career, good for fourth all-time at St. Patrick and was inducted into the St. Patrick Hall of Fame in November of '15.

"It's an exciting day," Rigdon said. "I went to school here for 12 years and this is a homecoming for me."

Rigdon served as an assistant with the program the last two years under Matthew Taylor and John Kirkpatrick as Rigdon will become the third coach in three years.
