Doubletake1906
This weekend two of Kentucky's elite shoe teams are competing in the absolutely LOADED Bob Gibbons Tournament.... Both teams have played extremely well making it to the Elite 8. Ultimately the Louisville Magic lost to Team Thad 37-92 in that round, but the following round the Travelers EYBL got some good ole Kentucky revenge by beating the same Team Thad 69-61. Today the Travelers will be playing in the Championship game of Bob Gibbons against the winner of Pocket City vs. E1T1..... Let's go Boys! Make Kentucky proud! GoHardITP
16U and in Championship game E1T1 out of FL beat KY Travelers 80-68. Still a great run to finish 2nd out of 64 teams from throughout Southeast. Multiple shoe sponsored teams finished near the top as this event touts itself as an event the elite shoe company programs get to finally meet up. Two NIKE programs finished 1/2 in the 16U division and Team Thad a top Under Armor program was in Top 4. Both 16U & 17U Louisville Magic teams made it to Elite Eight before losing. KY kids showed strong at this well attended event held in Atlanta this weekend.

GoHardITP
How is Trevon Faulkner doing? I was not there but heard he was very good yesterday and have not heard today. Adam Kunkel of Cooper was exceptional today with 20 in semifinal win over Team Thad and 25 in the final loss to E1T1. He is very underrated shooting guard out of NKY. He is a very good player and deserves mention of one of the top 2018 kids as well, but nobody talks about him much.

Legit scorer who is still growing.
GoHardITP
Across the state he was, but that is changing. With some of the scouting services and D1 coaches he was under the radar until this Spring. Not anymore, especially after the weekend he had in Atlanta at Bob Gibbons.

Can he do anything other than shoot? I've only ever seen him be a spot up shooter.

Don't_Hate_the_Playa
Nice athlete. Nice handle. Can get his shot. Has really developed his left hand and is now a threat from both sides of the court. A pure scorer who can finish with contact. He will be dunking with ease this year, and his assist #'s will increase as he sees the court better. Oh - and he wins - a lot. Cooper will be fun to watch this year.

bigbopper
Can he do anything other than shoot? I've only ever seen him be a spot up shooter. You must not have gone to any Cooper games this year. He can stroke the three, shoot off the dribble from anywhere on the court, and get to the rim. Having a great spring with the Travelers. One of his best assets is how quick of a release he has off the pass. Oh yeah, and gets after it on the defensive end as well. Cooper should have a very exciting team this year with him and the McNeil brothers with Dante Hendrix. They will also have a lot of talent around them. bigbopper
Sounds like Cooper/CovCath is a must attend game if possible. Would love to see this game at NKU on a neutral court this year. Game was first game of the year at Cooper last year and Cooper pulled out the victory. Game would be played at Cov. Cath. this year and it is a tough place to play for the visiting team. Either way I would like for the game to be played a little later in the season so both teams can can a few games under their belt before they play.
