Prince is having a concert in Baltimore.

Is he more of an activist than many think ?

I've never been a huge fan of Prince's music but he is an extremely talented individual. He seems to be way more political than I have ever given him credit to be. I'd say it will be a helluva concert on Sunday. On Mother's Day too? Good touch.

Until I read that piece I was not aware of his level of activism/commentary.

Should we know who Mark Spencer is? I'm not familiar with him.

He is correct, though. People who think of Prince as apolitical have certainly not been paying attention these 35+ years.
