Microwave oven to blame for mystery signal that left astronomers stumped | Science | The Guardian Maybe someone should check the famous 'Wow' signal to see if it happened around lunch. The most important thing I learned was not to open the mic while it was doing it's business. And on the "Wow" signal, I thought that was explained with an Apollo rocket booster from the 60s or a Russian satellite or something like that reflecting off something else? I know that sounds funny to some of you but I watch a lot of this stuff and some of it blends.
doubledeuce
It caused the same problem with my Uncle's pace maker, but we figured it out to late.......j/k The story did remind me of seeing the signs in restaurants warning about microwaves being used and persons with pace makers.
