Covington Catholic 44 Ryle 29 (Frosh)

Cov Cath played Ryle in the Semifinals tonight in the Holy Cross Freshmen Christmas Tourney.

CCH easily Won 44 to 29.

During the 1st period CCH scored 24 points to only 2 for Ryle.

At half time, the score was 30 to 2.

Cov Cath had four 3 pointers and nine 2 pointers in the first 12 minutes.

Nothing would go in for Ryle.

The second half saw liberal substitutions and Ryle was better able to get shots that went in the basket.

Cov Cath only went to the foul line twice, (one for a technical).

Championship game is Monday, Dec. 31st at 2:40 PM vs. Holmes.

What about the other games? I was thinking they did not play Saturday at all?

Beechwood lost to Holmes. Beechwood plays Ryle in consolation game.

I believe NCC plays Cooper in another consolation game.

So with the Championship game being played at 2:40pm on Monday, what time are the other game being played at?

It is virtually impossible to get updates on games for most bracket tournament games, something we need to work on.

That is why I got involved in the Frosh Regional Tournament at CovCath.

As most know, I post the schedule, update the schedule after each session, post the score of each game after they happen including the leading scores of each game and try to give the scoring summary of quarter score for each game too.

I think because we put out the information about the games, it gets people out to next games. Heck I tried like heck and so did Marc and Skinny to get the stuff posted in the NKy.com but the lack of space prevent them for doing so, so I post on BGP's.
