This should be a VERY good game. From what I have seen of Ryle vs Cov Cath last week and at midnight madness their D looks great. Their O has not looked good. If Cooper wins this one it would be the start of a very long year for Ryle, with their schedule. Good luck to both teams.
Jacob is a great young man. He has been on the Ryle sidelines since the 06 season (ball boy) when his brother was playing for Ryle. As far the numbers for Ryle last week I counted upper 60's for varsity and jv. But I thought for sure I counted in the mid 40's for freshman.
I don't know if you can have a second team?? But I do know that after watching this freshmen team at practice it looks like it is the biggest, fastest, and best coached Ryle freshmen class I have seen in the last 7 years. We will find out a lot tomorrow.
At the midnight madness it looked like they are playing freshmen. Looked like a few of them could be playing up. The numbers for both Freshmen and varsity are up this year from last.
These numbers are old. Before Cooper opened. If you go to the KHSAA website you can get the numbers from the 2011-2012 school year. Last year SK-1,642 students, Conner1,201 students. These are the numbers the state uses when determining how much money a school gets from the state. These numbers are accurate.
For what its worth. A lady who works for my wife told her yesterday that they just enrolled her son at Highlands. He will be a freshmen this fall. And he is on the football team. They live in Hebron and are not moving.
