  1. If I remember, Lawrence didn't become the starter until week 8 of the season. I think with Chad as the starter SK was something like 25 and 5.
  2. Sweep, I think they would have been happy with 500 season. I think they were 1 and 10 or.......2 and 9. PS Mike Brown would NEVER spend the kind of money Kenton County school spend on football.
  3. I was part of the progam from 2006 thru 2008 seasons. So I don't know what has happen in the past 3 years. What I do know is that Rodger Babik is a GREAT man who gave his heart and soul to the Raider Football progam. And for people to get on here and call him a " Bad Apple " is wrong.
  4. If this is coach Babik you are talking about, you my friend are clueless. No one and I mean no one has worked harder and was more dedicated to the Ryle progam than Coach Babik. If he is gone from the program, I would like to say THANK YOU for everything you have done over the years for all of the players, school, and community. You will be missed.
  5. The Cubs are in town that weekend playing the Reds.
  6. I agree with you 100%. Last month Clyde and Raiderbird brought up some problems about the program that were dead on.
  7. Congratulations to a Great man, and Great Coach !
  8. Great job, players, coaches and fans. Good luck in next weeks poll.
  9. Coaching, I spent 3 years on the sideline of a team that played them sometimes twice a year. We had players that were just as good and worked just as hard. Highlands almost always won becouse they were better coached.
  10. I had the same problem when I had zoomtown. Now that I have Insight, no problems
  11. Thanks, the Ryle playoff game is the only time I have seen Boone play. Seems like the were playing 4 or 5 players both ways. I did pick Boone in this one. But I am picking with my heart.
  12. How deep is S.C. ???? It looked like Boone played a lot players both ways in the Ryle a couple weeks ago.
  13. No Larry, you have it all wrong. Don't you know you just have to work harder. At least thats what I have been reading on here for a couple years now.
  14. Game was not this close. Ryle only had 3 first downs. If not for turnovers game would have been around 28 - 0. Ryles only score came on a pick six.
  15. Larry I have sat on the X side a couple times. Both times the X fans were Great. The food there is very good also.
  16. Well lets see, with the amount of hours you will be putting in. I would say about $2.00 an hour.
  17. Of the 96 high school football playoff games in Kentucky last week, 51 of them were decided by 28 or more points, but it's possible the Kentucky High School Athletic Association may be willing to change the current format within the next few years to avoid such blowouts. According to several area athletic directors at schools that have football, the KHSAA sent a survey to them and their coaches asking whether they like the current format in which almost every team qualifies for the playoffs or if they would like to see changes. Under the current format four teams from each of eight districts in each of the six classes qualify for the playoffs. That means all 32 Class A teams and all 32 Class 6A teams qualify, while all but 30 teams out of 128 in the middle four classes qualify. Newport Central Catholic athletic director Rob Detzel said six questions were on the survey. Among the questions asked were whether to stick with the current four-team-per-district format or to cut down to two teams per district and eliminate a round of the playoffs. He said another question asked about whether teams that didn't qualify for the playoffs would want to schedule an 11th game at the end of the regular season against other non-playoff teams. Detzel was among several area athletic directors who said they also lost money on their first-round games because of significant travel costs for their opponents and lack of fans their opponents brought to those games. KHSAA officials did not respond to e-mail questions about the survey. Even if the KHSAA decides to make a change, chances won't go into effect until after 2014 at the earliest - when the current alignment structure expires. I found this on nky.com this morning.
