Does anyone know what teams make up the field for this holiday tournament. I know Ashland is playing in it but was curious about what other teams will be there.

Based on what I saw this summer Lewis County should be the early favorite in the 63rd district.

Wow, is he ok? Anyone have any details? I saw Chad walking around Saturday night at the downtown Ashland mall with one of his old buddies from Rose Hill. He looked just fine to me.

Where is the game being played? Vanceburg or Westwood?

They will have to improve a lot to keep from being 4th in their district.

I watched them play several times this summer. Pardon me for being a skeptic but their will have to be some serious improvement for them to be anywhere close to a factor in the region.

I wonder how many possessions you actually watched to come to this conclusion about Will Scaggs. I have watched all 24 games this summer and I can honestly say Will distributes the ball as well any PG in the region. If you are open chances are he will find you.

Ashland only played two games last night. They played Bath County early and Lawrence County late.

Not exactly. Ashland was up 7 at the end of the thrird period when Coach Hicks decided he did not appreciate the officiating so he took his ball and went to the house.

I watched three games last night. Symmes Valley beat Ripley, Ashland beat Lewis County and Greenup County. Those are the only three games I got to see.

Kind of like blaming Ashland for everything that goes wrong in life..........

I am sure Ashland has everything to do with this situation. But then again some people blame the marron mafia for everything....

Ashland JV just mercied the Scott County JV in the 10AM game. Dylan Delaney gets the win pitching 4 innings of 1 hit baseball with 8k's. Way to go young tomcats.

I understand that East Carter is probably the better of the four runner ups so I guess in that respect they drew the toughest of the four. But if you are looking to get to the championship game with a chance to get to Rupp I do not think you can say they got a bad draw. You are going to have to beat someone to get there.

Maybe I am not very smart but why would being placed in the bracket opposite Rose Hill and Elliot County be a bad draw for Raceland?

Well the game was a lot closer then some on here thought it would be. It has to be the officiating.

Apparently he was dismissed from the team after having some problems at school.

Boyd County may have something to say about that!

With all due respect Fball, taking Matt out of the mix Ashland is still a much better team than Russell at this point in time. And that is really all I got to say about that.

Anyone know anything about Cody Bowling's injury?

Whoever said Ashland was very good. The fact of the matter is they are young and very inconsistent at this time. Are they a top five team in the 16th region? Quite possibly because other than Elliott County the 16th is very average at best.I guess we will fine out more in February.
