Did Ashland play horrible or is Spencer County better than their record shows ?

 

I really didn't know much about Spencer and though Ashland would win this one. Maybe thats what the Tomcats thought also.

Spencer played well.. better than their record implies...5 solid players..Ashland got off to a slow start never able to recover. Sets up Spencer vs South Old. doesn't appear to be any love lost between the two schools.. I heard some Spencer people saying this is the 'game' they've been looking towards...Shelby vs Oldham tonight could be the mis-match of the night.. Shelby by double figures....

That is a terrible loss for Ashland.

How can they lose by double digits to a team that is not one of the top 5 teams in the 8th Region?

Ashland did not show up. Spencer County outworked them.

I'm shocked by this one. When Montgomery scrimmaged Ashland, the Tomcats looked very solid... much to good to allow this loss to happen.

 

That's what's so great about the game! You just never know...

They may have made it to the regional tourney a few times. Usually one of the weaker teams in their region.
