Final.

Nice win for Ashland. I can't wait to see duckster's comments on this one. He'll probably move Fairview ahead of Elliott County in his poll now. :sssh::lol:

Just came home from the game and I was surprised by how well Ashland played in the 2nd half...

Thomas played well and guarded Hall like he should.....

Good win for the Cats....

Was Ashland in command the whole game?

It was pretty even in the 1st half but we controlled the 2nd....

Ashland had a 10-0 run in the 3rd. Fairview cut the lead to 6 in the 4th but couldn't get any closer. Eagles also went 0-10 from the three pt. line.

Coleman led the Tomcats in scoring with 22, Thomas had 18.

Halll led the Eagles once again with 17, Collins had 16.

IMO, Fairview got tired and couldnt keep up.

:thumb: That was the comment that Rex made in his post game interview.

I believe this will answer some speculation and stop some of the useless predictions of the 16th Region.

Collins lead Fairview with 18

Ashland finally outrebounded a team and shot over 50% from the field....

It was pretty even in the 1st half but we controlled the 2nd....

We?

Hats off to Ashland great crowd on both sides.

Yeah that no team can beat Elliott in the region! Ashland is a good team but after Elliott you can throw them all in a hat to see who will face them in the regional championship.

Congrats to Ashland. I was way off on this one.
