  1. Pendleton shot the ball extremely well against Ashland. In all fairness Ashland was playing their 4th game of the day and were without Withrow and Hunter (ankles) and loss Whetsel for a half(stitches in the mouth).
  2. Anyone know what teams are participating in the Ashland team camp going on Tuesday and Wednesday?
  3. Do you mean June 6? I don't think they did anything on May 6 but I could be wrong.
  4. Ashland: Lexington Catholic 6/8 Fairview Team Camp 6/10-6/12 Morehead State 6/13 Pendleton County Team Camp 6/16 Mason County Team Camp 6/18-6/19 Ashland Team Camp 6/23-6/24
  5. I will agree with you on that point Koun Dog!
  6. Buddy Biggs is not in any trouble. I love how the haters are always trying to stir things up.
  7. Like I said all of this talk sounds exactly like the same bravado we heard last year before the 64th district tournament. I ask again how did that turn out? Not interested in the Rose Hillian view of the officiating because in the last 3 years they haven't lost a game where they did not blame it on the officiating.
  8. Man this sounds like what we heard before we played last years 64th district tournament. How did that turn out????
  9. Sam Hunter pitched the complete game. Corey Salow wins game with walk off single in the bottom of the seventh.
  10. No! He is solid and anyone who says differently is just blowing smoke.
  11. anyone know where to go to catch the games on radio? What about the internet?
  12. I tend to feel you make your own breaks. In addition, if you look at the replay Ashland was lining up in the same out of bounds set before the time out as after the time out so I am not sure the time out call had any bearing on the outcome. Its always easy to second guess coachs when things don't work out in these situations.
  13. I agree with the clutch part of your statement but somehow I believe there was a little more than just luck involved with this shot. Kids grow up dreaming of hitting game winning shots in championship games so lets give this kid some credit for living the dream. Congrads Dylan Delaney!!
  14. No the seeding was Fairview 5-1, Ashland 4-2, Rose Hill 3-3, Boyd County.
  15. I am not trying to spit hairs here I just think this type of situation happens more than the term "unusual exception" implies although it is covered up some by officials who do try to even up calls toward the end of games. You might get some disagreement on the Ashland-Rose Hill equal talent comment though because their are some on this board who think Ashland has no talent.
  16. Count me as one who diagrees with you Ace. Two teams with different styles amost always create an opportunity for a disparity in fouls called especially against the team who challenges everything. In addition. a disaparity can exist between two teams with similar styles and talent if one team happens to play the game more intelligently. A team that is always reaching in, slapping down at ball, rebounding from behind and always trying to challenge shots laterally(more interested in rejecting the ball to the stands instead of challenging the shot vertically) will always have more fouls than a team who does not reach, does not slap, boxes out and only challenges shots vertically.
  17. Unbelievable Rose Hill fans complaining about the officiating by the boatload! Only in America Baby!!
  18. I agree 100% Nash the fouls that were called were fouls. I did not see any phanton calls tonight or any truly bad no calls. Delaney kept curling the screen and no one from Rose Hill stepped out to hedge the curl allowing him to get into the lane time after time. Congratulations to Rose Hill I thought you had a great game plan and your kids played with great effort. I wish you the best of luck the next few years.
  19. I hope it is nothing more serious than a sprain. The kid has some serious game.
  20. Anyone know how Caleb Collins ankle is doing?
  21. I watched Ryan W. play in the city championship game in the fifth grade for Oakview. I would say he had some game before he ever decided to cross over to the dark side...:fire:
