Pendleton went 3-0 in day 1 action defeating Prestonsburg, Raceland and host Ashland.

I am sure the boys and Coach Simms enjoyed the summer win against former Boss and close friend and mentor Buddy Biggs.:thumb::thumb:

Pendleton shot the ball extremely well against Ashland. In all fairness Ashland was playing their 4th game of the day and were without Withrow and Hunter (ankles) and loss Whetsel for a half(stitches in the mouth).

Pendleton looked good. Ashland looked good in their first 3 games, but tired in the 4th against Pendleton. Ashland was quick and fast with lots of substitution. They appear to be a pretty deep team with solid bench strength. I am looking forward to watching these kids play this fall.
