Not to sure little Bobby will be missed. This years DB's are bigger and faster than little Bobby. There are no if's about the QB throwing, he can throw and the Dutton's should have a break out year, if the ball is thrown to them. Last punt I saw went about 55 yards...that can't be too far off from last year. Yes, the defense did give up alot of points, but Bean did played alot of second/third teamers (seniors). With the schedule at hand, lends itself to more scoring by thier opponents, so lets hope with only 2 returning starters and the replacements can do the job. Rocks do deserve their # 1 Ranking (finally)....

Then make it a north vs south game....with Lexington being with the south and Louisville with the north!!

Either Schwietzer or Kapfhammer will play center. Db's and DL have hardly any varsity experience, but appear to be strong.

Part of the show has to be staged, just because some of the shots the camera guy is obtaining. Sleeping in a hotel is fine with me, because the show, does teach people how to survive out in the wild. I will continue to watch.

Why can't all public schools be a "selective public school", like Manual and Male? Just maybe, those kids who are in that catagory, who some think need babysitting would excel if they felt their time in a "public school" meant something, like the kids who go to Manual or Male.

TigerPaw is in a dreamland. Trinity will win with the pass and run this year and alittle defense. If the kid who went to FC wanted to come to Trinity, he would have,but he probably thought he could start 4 years vs 2 years at Trinity. Why don't you let it go TigerPaw and let the kid play out his high school career and not make such a big deal of it. So what if his dad is a Trinity alum, maybe his dad is having second thoughts. No need to bring it up, is there? What I have been told about what Trinity coaches say about a kid, "We'll win with you or we'll win without you". I do look for the Rocks to pass themselves into November.

This sounds something like I would hear from Jefferson County. You just have to strap it up and play. I think strongest overall has to to be 6A district 5 this year. Maybe not last year, but their in the running this year. T over X, watch Ballard give X a game here in a few more weeks and Eastern won't be a push over this year. It will be interesting to see how these teams fair in November.

Been there a few times. Everything that has been said is true, expecially the coolers. In my last visit, we had already paid our fee and a few teams backed out, they told us if we showed and played the teams that were attending, we would get our fee back. Well, i had to hunt the man down, but we did get our fee after playing 3-4 games. It's an over all good experience for players 13 and under. JMHO

Nice pictures....It appears the shower room should be larger for a team like X, unless there is a long waiting line. Green always looks good on lockers.

The school you are talking about in St. Matthews will have to earn their trophy like they have done in the past. Preseason No.1 would be nice, but not expected....even though the last few years should earn them No.1 ranking this year. Having that pre-season ranking really isn't a good thing, just look what it has done to that Poplar Level school!!!!

Didn't Central's coach quit? Was this schedule made up before or after leaving? I have given Central credit for a long time, they will give any Jefferson county team fits...

Didn't realize CA had a football team!! If they do, I would give them 10-15 years to make it to 6A.

How many students does this rule really affect? Does anyone have a number, no player names, of kids at any schools?

Trinity would have Sean M back in a heart best. Record against X has no baring on who the frosh coach will be this year. Sean did a great job and he will be back.

And that is ashame. I do hope and I think Curtis will change things around. Or, if he wishes, he could transfer to a different school and seat out for one year. All in all, he will be a top ten QB in the state next year.

Cal Ripken and Little League may have two different age cuts off (little league at the time was July 31). As for the '99 or '00, Mr. Osbourne had an older boy who would have fell in the same time frame. I suppose he learned from his mistakes, even though he wasn't the coach in '99 or '00.

This isn't going to happen unless you see Major league and college kids wear these protective devices. Granted, these devices serve the body well, but could they not hinder performance?

you are correct...just think how much stronger PRP's baseball team would have been if he had played. Maybe they would have won state.
