  1. I may have to agree about the O-line settling down abit (sure hope Xgrad doesn't see me saying this). But, if you think about it, you take a 2 year all state right tackle then move him to the left side, couldn't this mess with the chemistry? Overall, the O-line didn't do too bad, just timing issues. Defense put on a good showing, Scott had some long runs but T's defense didn't break. What a goal line stand at the 1...Next scrimmage game should bring more excitement..
  2. Thanks Rockmom for the idea..."It's a Trinity thing...you wouldn't understand". I'll see how long it will take the printing presses to pump a few of these stickers out.....
  3. Varsity through the 3rd quarter. JV and maybe freshman??, the 4th quarter.
  4. Maybe everyone else is missing the boat on revenue for their program!!!
  5. Someone must have been on a bar stool to make such a quote about CovCath been the best team in the state in 2006. We'll never know who was so all of this is speculation. Ok, CovCath beat Boone and Boone beat Ryle, but Trinity killed Ryle in the state. The 41-6 could have been worst but most every T player was in that game. Maybe CovCath can schedule a game with the Rocks in the next year or two and settle this issue.
  6. What type of supporter are you if you don't pay? Oh, you must work in the concession stand, those workers get in free, I think. Hadn't heard the 8pm start time.
  7. How were the X's QB's? Who stood out? Heard that sophmore QB might see some time under the center.
  8. Thank you,,,I just looked it up, my mistake. I was thinking Chaminade was Colerain. Ringer was one heck of a back in '04.
  9. Are you saying the Rocks did not play Colerain three years ago?
  10. Thanks Jimmy...how far of a hike is it from this park to the field?
  11. Thanks for the insight. Colerain had an awefully good RB, which T was able to maintain at best. From what I have seen, the Ashley kid is about the same size/speed. Should make out for a good game.
  12. Wow. Graham is back playing for the Rocks?????
  13. This should be a very good first game for the Rocks. First half will be close, even BG up by 7, but the second half the Rocks roll and will win by 21. Even after the first two scrimmage games, there will still be alot of players get some PT against BG. GO ROCKS.
  14. That Colerain team was more of a run team instead of a passing team. Is Cincy X the same?
  15. Wow...I would have never thought 41st. If I was Ernie, I would demand a recount before he gets booted out...I mean voted out.
  16. The OLB's appear to be in the 180-190 lb range.
  17. Not sure this was called for in this thread. Where's the Mod's?
  18. IMHO Pappas has appeared to be a standout center for T over any other for the past ten years. Surprised he was only 3rd team. Pappas was nothing but a rock with hardly any fat on his belly. The O-line is in fine shape, even with a new line coach who is teaching new techniques from last year. Scott County is next, it will be a warm one
  19. Thanks CentreRocks...Looks like a very nice stadium. And thanks to the other post about the eateries. Oh well,,,enough said, the Rocks need to prepare for the purples and bulldogs before the Cincy trip..
  20. It doesn't appear anyone has gone over board on the hype. I think the Rocks (and fans) have just has much respect in Cincy X as they will have in the Rocks. Hopefully the Rocks will be 2-0 when they take on the trip to OH.
  21. Who's the third? You got Pappas, last years center and who else?
  22. You might have some knowledge of this question, does Cincy St. X have more than 4-5 rows of bleachers for their visitors? Do they have ample parking for the type of following Trinity might bring to this game? I'm not familiar with their complex or the surroundings. Any good eateries around their High School?
  23. It will be a long day for the Rocks. The team will have to drive up to Ohio (2hours), try to eat something good, play a game and drive home that night. They're hoping the ride home will seem like a 30 minute ride from celebrating a win. GO ROCKS.
