I highly disagree. Petrino was able to bring his team from behind to win on Mr. Beaumont's home field. Besides being a leader, he got the job done for 2 years with a complex offense. Beaumont has some skills but has not been exposed to complex offensive nor defensive schemes. Lord knows what type of numbers Petrino would of put up if he started four years.

Then with 110 strong, I can see that there was a need for a nice track. Diogenes, you hit the nail on the head about the rising cost threatening the class of people who once attended these schools. It's Okay Riverside. Trinity lost a QB, Male has the determination and St. X will be St. X. Trinity does well when predicted as an underdog.

Where's the respect? It's St. X and Trinity. Not sure where you got the idea about getting more kids from public vs private, but you can think what you want to think. Don't be jealous, if you want a luxury box, get a group of parents and form a booster club. Also, community support goes a long way in a program.

Fern Creek has an exciting young QB with a good arm. New Coach, former assistant under Redman will bring new ideas to the Creek that they haven't experienced. I highly doubt those above mentioned teams would get the best of FC this year. I may become a Creeker after this year!!!

Greatest game I saw was Male vs Manual in the late 70's. Only reason why I went was to watch a hot female play in the band at halftime. So, halftime was my game to watch.

This has nothing to do with private vs public issue. If they truely scored 43 runs, then they should feel embarrassed. I hope every team goes after them fully loaded in the district. There is no reason, I mean no reason why you score that many runs in a baseball game. Principal should step an take action on the head score. If not, the parents should step up and do something because this is an embarrassment to them as well. Anton leaves and the Eastern program goes down..

Above names will help protect Stein for the tuff schedule the ROCKS will face in the fall. Defense will have to replace/reload in a few positions, but the returning starters will do just fine.

Manual stadium held some good Male/Manual games in the past. St. X fans probably won't miss the the manual stadium at all. JMHO
