  1. As tcjkbt has stated, he is not a polished player, yet. He has a HUGE upside, just stand beside him. I'm glad he's on the defensive side for the ROCKS, but he still has a few things to learn, as do most juniors.
  2. Maybe the state coaches know him better than whoever reports to Rival.com!
  3. Glad to hear Justin got a chance to play. He should have been a starter since last year. He is a gamer.
  4. Did you see the game RP? Was henry Clay as quick as they were last year?
  5. Rocks started alittle slow on offense , which is expected. Defense played well, with alot of hard hits, which is expected. Bend but don't break defense works For Coach Bean. Offense woke up in the second quarter and scored a few points the hard way, they earned them. Nice weather and nice game to watch.
  6. This score might lend itself to ask someone, how much did Beaumont really mean to Male the last few years? Is Beamont's middle name "Dynasty"?
  7. This has to be a HUGE disappointment for the players. They practice everyday, hitting each other and to have a scrimmage game against HC, get cancelled. I'm sure X will be ready for Ballard next Friday.
  8. Okay, I'll answer you,,,,, they lack team speed. They may be big and strong, but speed kills. IMO there were several 4A teams last year better than Ryle, but the way the brackets were set, they had a cake walk. I do love their stadium.
  9. I consider tuition a large financial donation, so therefore I occupy parking space # 22 every year.
  10. I've had my parking spot (reserved) for the past 4 years.
  11. Are you saying Ballard didn't play well? Who did they scrimmage? Why didn't they look like a top 10 team?
  12. It is, but referees show up for scrimmage. I don't see any referees at a practice.
  13. Charging an admission to a scrimmage game is a choice. Just like a parent sending their kid to a public or private school, its a choice. There is no right or wrong is this choice. Scrimmage games incurr almost the same cost as a season game (lights turned on, referrees, clean up crews, etc etc). Three dollars shouldn't break someone, but you can choose to turn around. If you are a true supporter of the program, you'll pay the cost.
  14. Now I know who RP is, he is the gatekeeper.
  15. Don't you mean Baby Beast? His two back ups aren't that bad themselves.
  16. I would hate to be that someone who is about to tackle Dexter. It'll take half the defensive unit to bring him down
  17. I think OX called the kid out, maybe not by name, but everyone knows who he's talking about. RP said Ben is a gamer and he also said Duce was the least impressive RB. :sssh: I'm just saying X has gone back and forth at the QB position, and sometimes a change isn't bad. I like the "Deer in head lights" quote.
  18. I know Z is a fine kicker but you should work on all aspects of the game in a scrimmage. Besides Z kicking a field goal or punting it 50 yards, you need to look at the other 10 players. That's all I'm saying. Out of all those stats, how many times did Z punt it the last 2-3 years? IMO he was a better kick off kicker last year than the kid who went to U of K.
  19. One last comment, it didn't happen this past Friday, but I hope Coverdale makes the following happen this Friday. Find a chance to punt and kick a 20-30 yard field goal. TD's are great, but pre-season experience kicking the ball, I think would be good.
  20. OX mentioned several player names in the positive section of his thread regarding the scrimmage but no names in the negative section. Is this the season that Glaser looks at a sophmore to be the QB? Receivers having issues catching the ball!!!!! Maybe there are some better receivers in the sophmore/junior class who would love a chance to excel.
