Fairview should win this game. Lewis Co. will be a better team then expected. Fairview has a few kids who wasnt on their roster last yr. that makes them a pretty good team. I just love it when schools can get those type of kids to move in.

What about the coaches at Nicholas County.

What about Nicholas Co. this yr. They return a team that has alot of experience. They just graduated 4 from last yr. but will be able to replace them with better kids. Coach Sims does a wonderful job.

Nicholas still has th Mynear kid back at Q.B. but the shoes they have to fill is Jonathon Mattox. He was the heart and soel of the team last yr. Yes they will be big and strong up front but need to improve team speed and find kids that have the fire at all times. Could be a very good or bad yr. Should dress around 50, with about 17 sr. The J.V. teams the last few yrs. have been really good.

Nicholas lost 5 sr. 4 of them were starters. They will have a hard time in replacing the mattox kid. They have kids ready to replace the other 4. Will be very strong on the line, but need help in the backfield and at l.b. on defense. Could have the strongest line in the state with all linemen benching over 300 and deadlifting way over 500. They will lack speed and pure athletic ability but should make some noise.

Why does pendleton co only have 17 players. they are a 4a school with over 1000 students. what is up with that.

This game has lost its excitement when people are talking more about Homer's than what the game is going to be like. I will agree Homer's was a good place to eat but what about the tradition of Paris and the Hard hitting that Bourbon used to bring to the game.Are these teams just not their anymore. I am a old bluejacket player and we have always got up for Paris and the scrimmages we had with Bourbon would get you ready for the season. This should be a good one Friday night. Both teams no the importance of this game. I will say that Bath Co. has some real good players in #3 and #13. and Nicholas has #8 and #9 that also play very hard. The players on Nicholas side of the ball that has to show up is #20 and #29. Nicholas is the underdog but people in Owingsville better not over look the boys from Carlisle. should be a good one. good luck to both teams.

What people have forgot to talk about is the speed both teams have. The problem both teams have is their lines are young and need a good winter. what ever line wants to show up and play their team will be the winners.

The game was a regular game between Nicholas and Raceland. I was told that the stats were very close with Raceland having the slight edge. Nicholas was with out their starting q.b. but their backup did a outstanding job. Nicholas is very much improved. they are very strong up front on both sides of the ball and with only 5 sr. the future looks very bright. good luck to both teams in the play-offs:scared::fight:

This will be a good one but I look for Bourbon Co. to win they have far better athletes than Pendleton co. Also Bourbon Co has the better coaches.:fire::fire:

Thank You Paris Pride we have the same respect for you guys as well. As for the game at Raceland it should be a good one. The Coaches at Raceland are a class act and do a outstanding job. Nicholas has been struggling the past few weeks and the injury to #11 the Q.B. hurts but their back up is very capable of getting the job done. Good luck to both teams.

Nicholas Co. is in the rebuilding process. They are much improved but still has some work to do. They had big wins the past few weeks with their wins over Bourbon and Paris. With Nicholas Co. its the number thing but the last few yrs. they have had good numbers. They will be a big underdog against LCA. Lca has been one of the top programs the past few yrs. Coach Rains and his staff have done a great job turning that program around.

Neither of the AD's from last school year were rehired Adam Davis was the co AD

Bath Co. will have a good year in 2007. Their schedule is very week. The coaching staff does a great job. how do you think the rival game between Nicholas and Bath will be in 2007

I am glad to hear from action dan again. You are so much a expert in the game was barry sanders around 5ft. 7. and did you even play any sports in high school i don think so. if you wish to see these kids lift please come by the weight room or do you remember were it is or was you ever their.

The bluejackets are getting stronger in the weightroom with 7 kids benching over 280 and squatting over 400. As one of the comments stated the o was missing from last years team. Any one who has played football can tell you when you are mostly soph. and freshmen you will look like you are playing against men. The road is still long but it is getting shorter for the boys in blue.
