What does Nicholas County need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I wish I knew more... but I do know that will have big shoes to fill with their QB.

They always seem to have some nice size on the line.

Nicholas still has th Mynear kid back at Q.B. but the shoes they have to fill is Jonathon Mattox. He was the heart and soel of the team last yr. Yes they will be big and strong up front but need to improve team speed and find kids that have the fire at all times. Could be a very good or bad yr. Should dress around 50, with about 17 sr. The J.V. teams the last few yrs. have been really good.

Yeah, Mynear is back for his Sr year, he hurt his knee real bad last year but I can't remember if it was just sprained or if he actually tore something.

Replacing Johnny Mattox at RB will be tough and I still the think the team overall lacks size and speed. Last year was a good start and hopefully NC can build on that for this coming year.

I don't know the guy that well and have only talked to him a few times, but other kids on the team that I have talked to felt he was more of a me first kinda guy and constantly put blame on the line for his fumbles.

Those are good signs and numbers. I hope they continue to improve.

 

Any more updates?

Everything that I have heard about the offensive line has been GOOD news. In recent years the strength of the Oline has been problematic. NC averages somewhere in the neighborhood of 260 across the line and they are much stronger!
