  1. If I'm not mistaken I believe he has also got some attention from UC, UL, Alabama and some other small division I schools
  2. Lokesak will be graduating in a couple of months..
  3. Well I guess we will see what happens in the Spring...
  4. Conner is coming off a nice win vs. Cov Cath. The Cougars and Rebels are both 3-0.
  5. Conner vs. Boone is always a good one to watch with a great atmostphere. They play tomorrow night at Boone.
  6. Great win for coach Hicks and the Cougars. Great game played by Conner. They played very tough and out hustled CCH all night. Chris Lang for Conner is a very hard worker and will chase every loose ball. I like this young and fast Conner team. Hodges is huge for a sophmore. He had atleast 8 or 9 blocks. I look forward to seeing the Cougars face off with Boone tomorrow night. Good luck to the Colonels the rest of the season, Im sure they will be peaking right at playoff time like always.
  7. Doubt it. Miles probably would have ran for over 200 on all of them.
  8. He is a very young talented player. He's only a freshmen.
  9. I agree I would like to see a more balanced attack from SK. They have other weapons on offense besides simpson, but if it works then why change it? I think Conner will do a good job of containing Miles. Also Conner's Offense is much more in sync this time around. It is very tough to stop them with their spread o. Look for them to put up some points friday night.
  10. When Nick West is on point... Conner can not be stopped. This will be another great match up. I think the cougars pull out another hard fought victory. Conner-28 Simon Kenton-17
  11. Conner is back in the playoffs for the first time in a couple years. How good is Tates Creek? How does their defense match up with Conner's spread offense?
  12. It's easy to look good when you're surrounded by All-State players and a Mr. Football candidate.
  13. Well he has almost 400 more passing yards and 10 more passing touchdowns. Although Highlands probably has a more balanced offense because of all the players they have. Nick West still has better performances week in and week out.
  14. Senior night for the Cougars. What are your thoughts on this matchup? What does Meade County have coming back this year? I know last year they had some pretty good talent.
  15. Mr. Englemon has had numerous touchdowns called back this season. 2 against Cooper. One of which was an outstanding punt return. One against Dixie on a reverse. A long touchdown pass against Sk. He also stepped in on defense against Dixie and made an interception on the first play he was in. He not only is a receiver, he can step in and play any position because he is that fast and ahtletic. Also Conner runs a spread offense so they alternate 6-7 wide receivers. At Campbell County, Bishop is their only target.
  16. Great win by the cougars. The D really stepped up tonight. West and Pugh both had outstanding games. Congrats to Conner for gutting this one out and getting back to the playoffs
  17. The D really needs to step up this week and have a big game. If they do... Conner wins. I'm going with Conner in a close one. 21-17
  18. So like I said before, to lock up a playoff spot the Cougars need a victory thursday night.
  19. Penalties plagued the Couars friday night. Having 2 long touchdowns called back due to holding calls. And when Nick West was injured it looked like the heart was ripped out of the team. It is never a good situation to put a sophomore QB in down 11 points in the fourth quarter. Hopefully the Cougars tie up all the loose ends and get back to how they looked in the first two games. They face Ryle next thursday in a must win situatuon
  20. The Cougars will be pretty fired up this friday after their disappointing loss to Campbell Co. last week. I look for their offense to get back in sync and put up some points. Conner wins 35-21
