Your right and it is early but i dont see anything in the bright future this season for Dixie. I may be wrong but with a Freshman going to start its shaping up that way. Nothing against Pike but i dont think he is ready to be starting Varsity games yet and he's the only one they can play.

Pike was not much of a factor at all. I think he may have had 2 points and 3 or 4 fouls. The only weapon Dixie had was Pompilio who put up 18.

I agree, physically he is ready for Varsity ball. I noticed another holdback youngster making the boxscore in Brandon Hatton. Last I heard he was held back his 6th grade year and I am guessing he is a current 7th grader at Turkeyfoot. He is a darn good player and if only 6 kids scored and he was one of them at Dixie, the talent pool must be very low. If you have to bypass jr's, sophs, frosh, my guess is the upperclasses at Dixie are weak.

 

Or, maybe Chevalier is gearing up for the future.
