Rebel91Dad
Boone came out very flat and fumbled a punt in the first quarter which led to HC's first touchdown. Quainoo got hurt early in the second half (looked as if he turned an ankle) and did not return. HC's defense was very aggressive all night and Boone had trouble moving the ball with the exception of a scoring drive late in the game. HC did what they needed to in order to get the win, Hat's off to them.

RRfootballWC
Take away Quainoo and Boone is no better than the rest Of NKY 6A.
Theoldman12
Any updates on Quainoo's injury? Did they just keep him out for the playoffs or is it something more serious?
NEERFAN
I agree RRfootballWC, Quainoo is there offense, not suprised they lost if he didn't play the whole game.
RebelFootball
Take away Quainoo and Boone is no better than the rest Of NKY 6A. Boone's defense is the best in 6A Northern Kentucky , with out them forcing the other teams to punt the offense would'nt have the ball as much as the do. IMO the D played well tonight except for a big run and along drive which the 14 points came off of.

I hope Quanioo is OK, say what you will about Boone's defense, but without Quanioo your chances of a decisive win from here on out have just been shattered!

Original Rookie
How bad is NKY 5A aside of HHS? That's what I was thinking. Q getting hurt is just killer. He is their offense. Let's hope the Rebels get it together by the playoffs.
Eta Rho
I was somewhat surprised when I heard this score. With Quainoo out though it isn't as surprising that they lost.
StraightShooter
Boone will have a tough time beating Madison Central at Central. Congrats to Henry Clay.
chevyman
Boone better figure out how to present a more balanced offense like they have a few games this year as against Simon Kenton. Quainoo is a good back, but was pretty much shut down the 1st half by Henry Clay. He moved the ball pretty well in the 3rd before the injury. If not for the 3rd I wonder how many yards he had. Henry Clay's defense just watched him and didn't have to worry about much. Walsh is the QB now, but is more than cabable of getting the job done. To expect a QB to throw the ball when it's a must situation, creates unneeded pressure than if the pass had been in the play calling from the beginning. Boone was out played and coached tonight. Henry Clay will be a force to deal with for Ryle in the 1st round. Hopefully, Boone goes back to the mixing it up as they did earlier in the year.
