This could be the make or break game for Dixie and their coaching staff. Both the players and coaches really do need this victory. I think if Dixie doesn't win this game the coaching staff could be on the hot seat. However this is the time every year that Dixie seems to be getting into football shape and usually start winning a few games.:ylsuper::ylsuper:

Should be a close game with Dixie having 2 weeks to prepare, Homecoming, etc. Could see it going either way but I'll take Dixie by a few points at home.

As much as I'd love to see this kind of score, I have to be realistic with regards to the young Colonels. Colonels defense must somehow stop or decrease Cougers rushing attack in this game. Their defense needs to show improvement and I think they will. Colonel running backs need to focus on catching the screen pass before running downfield. Make no mistake, the Cougers will be ready to kick posterior after their disappointing loss last week. I say this game could go either way but I'll lean toward the Colonels in a squeaker.

The Cougars will be pretty fired up this friday after their disappointing loss to Campbell Co. last week. I look for their offense to get back in sync and put up some points. Conner wins 35-21

I think Conner wins in a fairly high scoring close game. 35-31
