I like Boone Co in this one. They are getting excellent guard play it sounds like and playing good defense.

Conner is better than some were giving them credit for. I think Boone pulls it out in the end in a close game. Wouldn't surprise me one bit though if Conner won this game.

Steven McFarland is an entirely different class right now. Hodges may end up being a very good player but can not compete with McFarland right now.

 

I like Hodges and think that he has a very big upside but he is still a year or two away from being a great player.

Hodges has a ton of potential but McFarland has the edge in this game. Boones guards make the difference and Boone wins by 12....64-52

This will be a fun game. Boone should get he win, but do not underestimate the Conner team. They play extremely well together. I am saying Boone by less than 5.

Boone by 5. Conner could pull an upset, however. They seem to have reloaded this year. I believe they have a couple of players who didn't play or were injured last year. Don't know if they have any transfers. McFarland wins the matchup with Hodges. Boone's guards win the matchup over Conner. Earls needs to come to play for Boone.

Conner actually lost several players that could have played this year from last year's team. They are playing with three sophmores in rotation that didn't see much if any varsity last year. Coach Hicks has them playing extremely well. One of their better guards is even out with an injury.

Im going with Boone in this one but i would not be a bit surprised to see the Cougars to give Boone a run for their money or even beat Boone.
