So what does this mean to the 6A playoffs? It sounds like the final spot goes to the winner of the Campbell County/Simon Kenton game?

Just watch this game on FSN Ohio great game by both teams.

What a gutsy performance by West. The kid was in obvious pain and from the looks of how he moved around, in all liklihood should not have been on the field. What great perseverance. Watching how poorly a Healthy Conner looked against Campbell County, I thought they had no chance against Ryle going in less than a 100%. What a great performance in the wacky NKY 6A.

It started with the coin toss from that very special young man and ended with a big upset. Not a bad night.

Gutsy performance by West and the Cougars, the Qb keeper was a marvelous call since he could barely move. Conner did a nice job with their play calling, and received a solid performance from Pugh with 128 yards. I know most thought he was being under utilized, and he showed up big time tonight. Depending on what happens tomorrow night in Independence, 6A could be very wacky if SK can pull the upset.

Good game to both teams. Now lets go Boone tomorrow night in independence and we are in the driver seat :)

Conner dominated the game with the exception of Ryle's first drive in the second half. I would have liked to see less passing and more of Pugh in the first half and Conner may have put it away early. Pugh looked unstoppable at times.

Congrats to Conner on a very well played game. Their defensive game plan was outstanding - kudos to their defensive coach. This was a defense that had given up an average of 33 points their last 4 games. They stuck 8 men in the box, played the WR's tight, took away the run and challenged Ryle to throw downfield. The first half goose egg by Ryle's offense hurt. They did adjust in the second half, but Ryle had better expect to see this defense frequently the remainder of the year. Until defenses start respecting Ryle's passing game, it makes sense for them to load up at the line to stop Ryle's running game.

Ryle's defense played well enough to win. They held Conner to their lowest point total of the season. I think if you would have asked just about anyone who they thought would win if Conner only scored 17 points, you would have gotten a near 100% prediction in Ryle's favor. But, much like the Simon Kenton game, Conner's offense turned up the heat late, and made some great plays. Again, congrats to them.

Ryle can still win 6A if they knock off Boone in two weeks. If they lose, there could be a three-way tie for 2nd with several teams at 2 losses.

I got to the game at halftime with Conner leading 3-0. Ryle came out firing in the second half and quickly took a 14-3 lead but after that it was all Conner.

Scooter Englemon, although small, is the best receiver in nky IMO. The kid can flat out fly and I have yet to see a Db keep him in check. HE had several huge catches on the night to keep the Conner drives alive.

West was very smart when it came down to the wire. Trosper's call of the slant on the game winning TD was a great call. Ryle had 8 in the box I believe and were blitzing so he went to the middle of the field and the WR made a nice grab with a Ryle defender all over him.

Conner assured themselves of atleast a 3 seed with the win tonight but could potentially get the 2 seed and host a home playoff game depending on what happens in the SK/Campbell and Ryle/Boone games.

If Boone wins out and SK beats Campbell, that should give Conner the 2 seed...correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that would be correct Eta Rho.

I agree 100%!:thumb:

I think Austin Collinsworth would have a pretty decent chance at shutting him down, All-State DB

Wow Conner has really turned things around haven't they.
