  1. Congratulations to both of these guys.. both are excellent basketball players, and excellent people on and off the court... Transy is really getting a steal..
  2. isnt the 12th region one of the tougher regions in the state for girls?
  3. Edgington 1, Spurlin 2, Gilbert 3, Long 4, Allison 5
  4. Prepare for one of the most elite atmospheres that a high school hoops game has to offer.. bitter rivals...
  5. Wasn't Wayne 'ranked' higher than Lincoln in the Pre-season polls?
  6. Spicer is not playing for LC this year.
  7. I believe Gilbert's "supporting role" was meant on the offensive side of the football where he saw little action last season, but was second on the team in tackles.
  8. If they can get through Lincoln County in the district... Lincoln county should have a top 10 team under the wing of new HC Mike Settles... :thumb:
  9. Lincoln County PG- S. Ellis 5'10 SR. SG- T. Edgington 5'9 SR. SF- S. Gilbert 6'1 SR. PF- E. Spurlin 6'4 SR. C- T. Owsley 6'2 SR. BENCH C. Long 5'11 JR. Guard C. Wills 5'11 SR. Guard D. Allison 6'3 JR. Center M. Cooper 6'2 JR. Forward
  10. Lincoln has very good guard play in Ralston, Young, and Keeton... They are a hard to pressure, any one player in the starting five can handle the basketball well.
  11. Junior Forward Ethan Spurlin from Lincoln County should be on the list IMO
  12. Pulaski on their home court will be very tough, they bring a very big, rowdy crowd. I'm going to pick the Pats to advance to the Regional Championship.... LC wins by 15+
  13. If Lincoln comes out playing like they are capable of then this game won't be close, but if they don't come to play it could be a long night for the patriots...
  14. Lincoln starts #4 Trevor Edgington a 5'9 junior guard, and #22 Ethan Spurlin a 6'3 junior forward.
  15. Lincoln did lead in the second half, although the lead went back and forth throughout most of the second half, Lincoln held the lead late in the 4th quarter 52-49.:thumb:
  16. Did anyone see the play just before halftime when Lincoln's Noah Keeton was tackled into MC's bench after the shot?
  17. Lincoln is undefeated in district competition, playing without Ethan Spurlin who was averaging somewhere around 20 points and 7 or 8 boards a game, Spurlin who has been sidelined with mononucleosis will be a huge boost for the Pats when he returns to the lineup. IMO Garrard played about as good of a first half as they are capable of playing and Lincoln still led at the half, although 2 Lincoln starters picked up 2 quick fouls and were sidelined most of the first half. Can't wait for the Lincoln v. MC match-up. GO PATS!
  18. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is a new season... lets not focus on last seasons lost in the sweet sixteen, how about we focus on this season, and this season the pats are a team to be reckoned with throughout the 12th region. GO PATS!:dancingpa
  19. IMO If the Pats had played a bit better the first half, then they could have pulled out the upset, when this team gets in full stride they will be tough.. GO PATS!!
