Good win for Lincoln County. I still think they are the clear favorite in the 12th Region. Mercer County seems to have hit a bit of a wall (lost to Burgin earlier in the week) after playing really inspired over the last couple weeks.

After watching McCreary tonight I would have to disagree with Lincoln being the "Clear Favorite". However, I certainly think they are one of the favorites.

I think Lincoln holds the edge because of postseason experience. Remember, McCreary didn't play in the regional tournament last year. It will be a very good tournament though and McCreary will give a good showing. Should be exciting!

Lincoln and McCreary are the favorites, but if either is upset, there are about eight teams that could swoop in and win it!

As it stands, I think that there is a few teams that can win without Lincoln and McCreary being upset. Remember, Lincoln only beat Wayne by three, even with the Cardinals missing 6'7 Cody Decker.

I'm sure Mr. Decker was playing When Lincoln blew Wayne out early in the season. Bttom line when the regional tourny starts win or go home no excuses.

That was early in the year, OSP. McCreary beat Lincoln. Lincoln lost to Bryan Station by about 6, a team one time considered the best in the state, but that was earlier this year. Lincoln isn't playing as well as they did early in the season and it may come back to haunt them.

I agree LC isn't playing as well right now, but they are still easily winning games. LC beat Wayne by three down there and 39 in Lexington???? I will leave it at that, LC nevers plays well way down south. I think one think hurting LC is the lack of competition in the area this year. I don't feel like they are getting "up" for the games as of late.

 

I think everyone obviously agrees LC and MCC are the two favorites. Hopefully they will both make a deep region run and meet in the championship of the region tourny.
