Casey County played a smothering defense and Lincoln County shot a mere 13% from the field in the second half.

 

Good luck to the Lady Rebels in Bowling Green. I think they will make some noise in the Sweet Sixteen.

The better team won tonight. Congrats goes out to Casey. I've been impressed with them the entire season.

Great job Lady Rebs. I think this team can win two or three games in state.

What a ugly game. It was a very physical game. Lincoln had some good looks but just couldn't knock down the shots. Casey just finds a way to win.

Casey, Lincoln & Rockcastle were ranked in the top 20 in the state all year long.

 

It's top heavy. There are a few really good teams (Casey, Lincoln, Rock), along with some other decent teams (Southwestern, Mercer, East, Monticello, Boyle). But there are some really poor teams at the bottom.

You have to look at each teams schedule to get a grip on who had the top teams. Some were pretenders with weak schedules. Just click on each team( top 10) and you will see who the top teams were. Go to the KHSAA website and look at the records.

Wow, this was a real shootout.

 

Casey's bracket in the state is favorable for them to go a pretty good way. Good luck to a fellow 12th region team!
