  1. Bardstown big......still have seen nothing to convince me that the Admirals are a mature, sound football team. Too young, offensive line very average at best, defense not consistenly aggressive enough to handle the Tigers this time around. If the Ads do find a way to pull this out, I am positive it will be the end of the line for them. No way on any planet can they beat Ft. Campbell. I take the Tigers by 13 to 17.
  2. They'll beat Danville by 13 or more; Ads just aren't very good...worst 9 win team(around the state possibly) in my opinion.
  3. Ft. Knox, no wins Bardstown, not Ft. Knox Danville, good chance they make their earliest exit from the playoffs since before the Harp era Just aren't good enough to make a run I fear
  4. Don't believe that Danville will have too much trouble, but if they don't get serious about making a run then next week is it for the Admirals. Who are the leaders of this team?? Are there any? What are they doing to get motivated after Frankfort laid that L on them 2 weeks ago?
  5. I am glad to see that someone agrees with me in that the Admirals are soft.....no big hitters and hardly any decent tacklers on defense..the d-line is pretty good though.
  6. IMO the 2 point conversion had little to do with the outcome...how about tackling a running back Ads????? Their tackling as a team is some of the poorest that I have ever seen! Their little ole linebackers and db's are so soft! Nice to see #4 Simon back to form!!!!!!! We'll see how far Danville can go in the playoffs..........
  7. Just how bad is his ankle injured??
  8. When they say EJ is "out", they are referring to "out to get revenge for last year's playoff loss"......
  9. Dear goodness............if that kid plays, and EJ is healthy, the Ads have virtually no chance...they haven't really stopped anyone that could move the ball consistently, and if you add another big speedy back to Frankfort's already dangerous backfield I would go ahead and forfeit this one to save the embarrasment, you know? When will the Panthers know if he is eligible or not??
  10. Frankfort might score 50 on Danville.........the Admirals running game is nonexsistent.... #3 D. Henderson is one tough receiver; can't say that about #1 Macon-guess we'll see next Friday....if Danville tackles the way that they did tonight, Fields will get tired of scoring....
  11. Depends on which Danville team shows up in my opinion......the 2nd half team at Bardstown better get ready for a fight; the one that lined up vs. Russellville could score lots of points and make it no contest. Guess we'll see Friday...hope the Admirals aren't looking ahead to the battle with Frankfort next Friday......
  12. Danville plays like they are capable, then they sneak out of Panther country with an 8 point win.....if not, then Russellville could score in bunches..limit turnovers Admirals, and play like it matters every week would ya?????!!!?????!!!!
  13. Bardstown will beat Danville badly, mark it down...The Ads are not, I repeat, are not ready for a team like Bardstown...
  14. In class AA, Green Co hands down......undefeated and beating people handily I believe.........
  15. Don't know much about Campbellsville other than they are supposedly BIG! And the Admirals are small....with that said, if both teams play their best game Danville wins by 13.
  16. For Danville, I would give the edge to............nobody really..........:(
  17. First district game for both; Ads big??
  18. I agree with Buffalo; if you want to talk about the team personally and in what direction you think they might go, so be it. But Pardue's future is for Spears and the Boyle Co. administration...it is not a subject to be throwing around in respect to the man that in my opinion has done a great job with the talent that he has. Let's not fool ourselves folks-this isn't the same caliber of players that Smith had.........
  19. Who wins and why? Just how many guys are out for the Cardinals? Really hate to hear that...on paper, 6A vs. 2A shouldn't be close, but what say you??
  20. Great job secondary! I am just blown away by how well they played overall....only 3 real starters back on defense too???? As the season progresses, I look for that defense to be unreal!!!!!!
  21. Absolutely no disrespect to the Pats, but this one was highly in favor of the Tigers; kind of like Michigan today, right?
  22. I believe that you are right Hatz; Danville has only beaten Boyle Co. 3 times in the past 10 years if I am correct(98, 02, 06)....I think that the edge clearly goes to the Rebels; their competition has been much more difficult than Danville has seen, and from what I hear they have gotten better each week(including their scrimmages). Heard that Madison Central only beat them by 7 in their scrimmage, and we all know what the Indians did to the Admirals a few weeks ago...
  23. If the Admirals play as they have the past 2 weeks, the Rebels will beat them handily(at least 4 touchdowns)...if the Admirals play their best game, it will be close(less than a 9 point victory either way)....the Rebels seem to be the team that has the fight in them, the team that battles through adversity and keeps on coming(check the score of the Henry Clay game at the start of the 4th quarter)...just don't think the Ads have the fight in them that it will take in a rivalry game like this. We will see.........
  24. Scoreboard isn't indicitive of how bad the Admirals played.....way too many mistakes on the defensive side of the ball, as well as what looked to me as guys just not being aggressive and getting after it. When the Warriors cut the lead to 3(I believe scored 2 very quick touchdowns after mistakes by Danville), the Ads looked like they hung their heads and quit. That is very disappointing for me. They just don't seem like a close knit team to me-could hear many players from the sideline complaining about their playing time/complaining about the coaches, etc....they'd better strap it up this week and play their best ball, or Boyle Co. will beat them as bad as they want to...
  25. Are you kidding me?? Someone from Patriot Nation start talking! What an upset!
