Is this Chris Pardue's last year at Boyle County?

Featured Replies

It looks like it could be another long year at Boyle County. Could this be Pardue's last year? Or will the Boyle faithful understand the tough schedule and give him another year?

They will have to go very deep in the Playoffs for him to be back next year.Just my opinion...

A little too early for this kind of conjecture. Ask the same question in about 8 or 9 weeks. Then things would be worth talking about. Until then this discussion has no purpose or use that can be constructive.

The question the Boyle faithful need to ask themselves is who would they get that is better than Chris Pardue?

I can tell you. Nobody.

I dont think this is the proper place to discuss this, especially since it is all speculative. His players get on here and read posts, and they most certainly do not need to read this stuff in the mix of the tough times they are having at Boyle. This is completely subjective and it has NO PLACE...

More importantly, Chris Pardue has a family, and they don't need their husband/fathers future. Most of the people on here aren't coaches, nobody publicly talks about your job security on a public site for the entire world to see, do they?!:madman:

AMEN!! Great post! Threads like this one is one reason I do not let my son look at this website.

I agree but, unfortunately, its part of the gig.

Do you not let your son listen to adults at the diner or grocery store?

Or do you think that this is the only place folks in Danville are talking about the coach?

I agree with Buffalo; if you want to talk about the team personally and in what direction you think they might go, so be it. But Pardue's future is for Spears and the Boyle Co. administration...it is not a subject to be throwing around in respect to the man that in my opinion has done a great job with the talent that he has. Let's not fool ourselves folks-this isn't the same caliber of players that Smith had.........

Come on No Holla!! I think the paper dust is getting to you. :D As with all coaches it takes time to get your system and personnel just as you want. It all does not fall into place right off the bat. How many years did Chuck Smith "struggle" before finding the right combinations? Give Coach P time...we'll be back....

Who would Boyle rather have teaching their young men lessons in life? Character development is much more important than wins and losses, and let's not forget he is a big reason for those championship trophies that call Boyle Co home. Rebels are lucky to have Chris.

Roll your eyes as you wish. You can't shelter your child from this talk unless you have him sequestered in your house.

Its unavoidable in a high school football town like Danville.

I agree!!
