  1. I believe this will be a close game and whomever has the fewest turnovers, mistakes and penalties has the best chance in winning this game.
  2. Hazard 21 P'ville 8 5 min. remaining
  3. Hazard 21 P'ville 0 6 min. remaining
  4. Could it have come from the Ashland Daily? lol :ylsuper:
  5. Pikeville's TV station covered this game and if anyone is on Foothills cable system the Apple Bowl will be replayed at 2:30pm Sat. (Channel 74)
  6. Ashland should win this one with ease I would say 45 to 6
  7. This game was closer than I expected!!
  8. I was listening to that news report and to the coach's radio show and both said basically the same thing and that is a commette was being formed to look into renovating the athletic complex including the football and baseball fields the report did not go into specific details. Hopefully something will come out in a couple of months.
  9. Greenup County over Ashland
  10. Your right they SHOULD. But if you look back over the years JC hasn't had the number of players they have this year, a few years I think Paintsville out numbered JC.
  11. Thanks for the correction.:walk:
  12. Mason C0. is 4 and 2 with wins over Montgomery Co., Morgan Co., Fleming Co., and Frankfort.
  13. I think some fans are getting carried away with their predictions, JC should win this game. But this is the Apple Bowl and most of the time you can throw records out. You can bet that P'ville will give everything they have to try and win or make this a close game. History show that there has been close games when there shouldn't have been and blowouts when nobody expected it. Let's hope that this is an injury free game for both teams.
  14. Paintsville has the talent to be the top team in the 15th, but they will have to play as a team and not as they have been playing for the past 2 years. I just don't know if anyone in the 15th should be ranked in the preseason top 25.
  15. I for one am convienced that the truth is still in Clinton, because it never came out while he was in office!!
  16. Dillon has done aexcellent job! In the past JC hasn't had the depth to replace an injured player but this year the kids have stepped up and not missed a beat.
  17. I agree 100% he has be a big plus on the D-line. It was good to see Chase out on the field this week.
  18. The WYMT top 10 poll is great but it doesn't mean a thing it's the final poll at the end of the season that counts.
  19. I'll be up all night trying to get that picture out of my mind!
  20. Thanks and I'm glad to be here. Hope they can take the cannon over also, I just don't know where they would set it up is there enough room around the endzone?
  21. Just a comment a little off the subject but something that I am sure that a lot of Johnson Central fans dont know is that the school colors were almost changed at one time in the 70's from Black and Gold to a proposed Red, White, and Blue. It went so far as to actually go to a vote. Obviously it was voted down. Wow. I like the idea of showing you support for the colors on the flag but that would have been one ugly Eagle. Before Johnson Central opened the existing Johnson County High School's (Flat Gap, Oil Springs, Meade and Van Lear) voted on the schools mascot and school colors the colors were Red, White and Blue and the mascot was the Patriots I prefer "Golden Eagles" and "Black and Gold"
