Future is what I meant. Sorry

BigCountryBoy used the right statement by saying should. I really think that they should too, but as i said before Gallatin cannot get over confident or an upset could be in the furture. It is tournament time and any team can win, just depends on how you play not just physically, mentally as well.
-
You seem really confident about this. Owen has beat Gallatin and played them to overtime before. Gallatin better not have the "big heads" coming into the tournament or an upset could happen.

8th Region Class A - Predictions?
HSFootball2 replied to Lunatic1's topic in KY Girls Basketball (High School)
I would like to agree but the schedule Carroll has played does not lead me wnought to believe two or three games in the state tourney. The only team Ive seen them play would be Shelby in which they played very well, but I hope they do well in the tourney. With that being said, Carroll cannot go in the class a thinking they have it won because tournament time is when the upsets happen. Carroll better take one game at a time. Good luck to the the Panthers! :thumb: -

I do not know. Against Gallatin and Henry, Carroll looked very good the first half but seem to ahve trouble finishing the game. I have not had a chance to see Walton-Verona play but do know they have a good post player and have a shooter. Should be an intersting game -

Not too bad. Just talking to players on the team it just was really sore for the Gallatin Co. game and should be ready to go tomorrow night when they travel to Walton-Verona. -

The big man suffered back problems and was forced to be on the bench for most of the game. The game was a very physical game like every Carroll/Gallatin match-up. Gallatin was the better team in the second half but Carroll had them in the first half. Congrats to Gallatin and maybe we will see another Carroll/Gallatin match-up in the Class "A" Tournament -
Final...Ballinger had 22. Not sure on the other players but Im sure Girdy put some hard pressure on the Wildcats.

Whitney Ballinger had 37 points. The Lady Panthers played very well on both sides of the ball. Amber Girdy once again played tremendous defense. She definitely gives energy to the team. This was also Coach Randy Meffords 300th career win. So congrats to Coach Mefford and the Lady Panthers. -

But what? I mean seriously how are you going to take credit away from Gallatin. They are a good team and everybody knows that. They have good QUALITY wins and play hard every game. Do not take things away from a team when they earn it like GC has this year so far. I would like to say congratulations to Coach Jones and the Wildcats on winning the tournament and good luck next week in Phoenix and the rest of the season. -

Not sure on exact stats, but as I watched the game the standout to me had to be Scott Brown from Gallatin. He ended the half with two or three straight three pointers to give the cats a big lead going in at halftime. -
I thought Edmondson was ruled ineligible for this season
-
He is doing great at Owen. The kid can flat out play. he can do everything from shoot to playing defense. Neeley is the real deal.

The kid is real player. Got a chance to see him twice this season. He really does not have a down fall to his game. He can shoot, dribble, pass, and can play D. He is what you call a playmaker. I look forward to seeing him play throughout the season. Good Luck Daniel -
Henry also returned alot. I think only one player graduated for Henry. I look for it to be a good game

Danville was out to prove something this game. 1. That the first game didnt matter and 2. they will be a state contender once again. Congrats to the Ads and good luck on the march to Papa Johns Stadium.
-
Im with you on this one!:thumb: There is such thing as a BAD game you know, and I think that Danville had a bad game last meeting between the 2 teams. Look out FHS, Danville is ready to get revenge.
-
The way I seen it from the stands, Frankfort was favored in this game by far. I seen many calls that were not made against Frankfort that was made against Carroll. I just think that the officiating could have been alot better and fair.
-
Ads: 42 FHS: 14 Ads come ready to play and get revenge against Frankfort. They are out to prove that Frankfort should have never won the first meeting. I just hope the officiating is alot more fair in this game. I attended last nights game at Frankfort and was very suprised about how many missed calls were made and how the game was favored. Hopefully this game will be called fair for the sake of both teams. Good luck to both Danville and Frankfort.

Well so will Danville. Danville is playing for revenge after the loss they suffered at Frankfort. Danville has more to play for in this game, revenge and hopefully another trip to Papa Johns Stadium.
